In two days of televised poker, some serious tapping by DN has been aired. Lesser so on Big Game, when he told cannon to be very scared of internet players, and to not bluff them.
Then he plops right down @ new WSOP ME table, and announced that James Carroll is the one player that he deemed dangerous from his research. I'm sure James appreciated that. Then he shared WSOP bio of another dude.
Obviously his mouth is one of his trademarks, a vital trait of a great tapper. He's blathering even more than usual on The Big Game, which is to be expected, as he's the unofficial house pro. Some of the chat is entertaining, some silly, and there's plenty in between. He should just recognize that every thought popping into his head isn't cute or to be shared.
I can see someone trying to keep the fish's money out of the "good" players hands. So warning the fish about the "good" players at the table might result in more chips coming his way. If this is calculated table talk by him it's pretty scummy.
You did not just create a thread to talk about Negreanu tapping on the tables did you? Step back, take a deep breath, digest what you just wrote and realize how stupid you are for posting this.
I think he means tapping the glass obv. If you were in Daniel's position you would do it too, it basically goes like this.
"Avoid that guy because he is very good, me and you are cool though, we'll just play some poker, I'll probably win and then you have a great story to tell all your buddies. Think about it, if you get home and say you lost all your money to some internet genius no one will care but if you say you lost it to Daniel Negreanu you are instant legend."
