I'm not for certain but he offered to sell action and no one really took him up on it lol. Some buddies of his gave up like 60 bucks each or something to pony up a some % of it and they ended up with like 40k a piece lol.

This E mail just might be legit. If it were me, I would give the guy all my personal data and wait for the money to roll in. What could go wrong?

Agreed. Maybe the thread title should have "Someone pretending to be..." inserted in it.

You should respond, but give them an incorrect email address. I've heard that has worked out well for random people getting free money from WSOP millionaire tourney winners.

Perfect Greetings,

My name is Scott Blumstein the current winner of New Jersey World Series of Poker, $8.1M, and I bring to you a perfectly good news for such a perfect timing as this. I know this is surprising for you to have received this email from me.
But because of my good heart and all your support and good will towards me during all the time of the game and also how excited I am, so i am willing to donate £1,000,000 (One Million Dollars) to you and as part of my effort to alleviate poverty and care for the less privileged around the world, I have decided to donate to just 15 people around the globe which you are a part of.
Did they leave a phone number to call? I'd LOVE to talk to them.

Is there a part of the email missing? I don't see the scam part other than he hopes that you might reply to his Japanese email with your email. Is there a part where he asks for your bank account info or something? I didn't get this email. Lucky you.
