not that i know anything about these people... but my guess is that a lot of poker players probably are not a lot of fun to be around if they go busto.

girl starts off dating a happy, care-free, rich poker player.... ends up with a busto jerk who is angry and frusterated all the time... i could understand why a busto pro might get dumped.

Agree. That her appearance is any factor is part and parcel of show business, of which this job rests on the outskirts. Besides, I don't know her at all but I'm guessing she isn't getting this job on looks alone.

I'll go one step further: I don't even really care whether or not she (or any other host) plays poker. Dick Enberg and Al Michaels didn't play the sports they call. How many play-by-play announcers (not color analysts, but play-by-play) played the sport in front of them? Seems like the minority. Rich Waltz, who announces the Marlins, played collegiate baseball. But he also has done major college basketball and football. And a poker hostess is even more removed from the game than those guys are.

because in the poker world we get way to many girls who don't know **** about poker and so few girls who are actually good at their job. I want to see the smart and hardworking girls get these jobs.
