Putin is literally holding the world hostage with nukes. **** Russia, **** anybody associated with Russia, and **** anybody that enables Russians to partake in the free world. **** anybody that is sympathetic for Russians. Boycott the WSOP, and any poker site that allows Russian activity. Somehow, someway the money will eventually flow back to Putin to further enable his bs.

It’s not an unheard of idea and is in-line with economic sanctions and trade embargos to restrict free travel of sanctioned country citizens to other countries. But as said above by moderators, this is usually broader policy of government, and not that of a public company.

Maybe do what FIDE did. Don't ban them but don't show their flag next to their names.

PokerStars didn't ban Russians. Not sure why people keep saying that even though it's clearly visible at the tables that they didn't.

PokerStars stopped offering their services in Russia. That's a totally different thing. Same for other international brands like McDonalds or Apple. Just because they closed stores in Russia doesn't mean a Russian citizen can't walk into one in New York to buy stuff.

Don’t care enough to know the distinction in that but it’s close enough for me though anyway.

Would just be like the WSOP stopped offering their services to Russians. I don’t really agree, mostly from how it would be applied.

But I don’t understand the drama behind the suggestion.
