I personally disagree. However, it kinda depends how you are as a person. I do believe a lot of people deserve second chances. Henri could have been one of them.

We are all just humans, everybody makes mistakes and nobody is perfect. It's as cliche as it gets but it's the truth.

Imo it just depends on how you act after you got caught. Henri clearly preferred taking the nut worst route. He prefers to keep his stolen $40.000 and claiming he didn't know about Fedor Kruse his cheating.

Maybe Henri just couldn't pay back the $40.000 and had no other option than taking this route.

Either way, Henri it's never too late to stand up for the right thing.

^^ I can't think of one notoriously hated person who wouldn't be able to feel safe playing live poker assuming they aren't actively wanted by the law. Despite the mass amount of live droolers who are seemingly incapable of assessing expected value situations there are very few who are not aware that committing any act of violence in a casino full of cameras/security/police is only going to be immediately screwing themselves over in every imaginable way.

Yep, exactly, this take and it's not common for people to expect "street justice" to take place in this type of situation. What do people actually expect to take place here in reality? In many other normal scenarios where one party steals from another the law is on their side, and they contact the law to in-act their force, but in the poker community it's almost a grey area for them to do that in many circumstances. It's stupid and unfair to the people cheated in this community but really, it's not like the players are some sort of keyboard warriors backing down for not taking out their own street justice on the perpetrators. The risk is not worth any possible reward in many of these instances in the eye of the law.
