I can understand your frustration, but this is over-reactionary and uncalled for. I'm not American but the acts of terrorism carried out against the country (and others) isn't justifiable in any way.
With regards to the current situation everyone is facing, I would say that if your money is with Full Tilt or Stars, to remain calm. I would be extremely uneasy right now if I had money on UB or indeed any other site that is accepting US players, as their accounts
are going to be frozen at the very least. Then there is the question of whether these sites can actually facilitate such a simultaneous "run on the bank".
I'm sure Stars and FTP will be able to cover most/all of their held funds in time, however I would be extremely skeptical as to whether those with UB and others will even see 50% of their money again. However, the warning signs were there and honestly, if UB stings you here, you deserve it.
I would imagine the games will eventually go down for everyone until something is sorted out to enable those who can (at the moment anyway) still play to, while preventing US players from doing so.
It's not in the sites interest to have EVERYONE try to leave and withdraw now so they'll be scrambling to facilitate non-US asap.
There's no telling how long the relevant accounts will be frozen for though so something I would stress is that if you're relying on a withdrawal to pay your rent or bills, go and sort out alternative financing NOW. I would also suggest that people do not initiate cashout requests at the moment until it is clarified as to whether it will actually be processed. The last thing you want is money disappearing off the records/getting lost. It's better that it's visible in your account than "processing" elsewhere.
I hope everyone on Stars and FTP get out of this alright, I've no sympathy for those on other sites. Regardless of the outcome, given how the media is portraying the sites and people involved, online poker will never be the same going forward.
