If I'd picked Ivey instead of Lamb who is only playing the one drop, like eveyone told me to, I'd be running away with it. I never listen
06-30-2012 , 10:31 AM
@behrami, i fixed that now, i didn't realise that Alexander = Philip Gruissem. And i'm sure one of your players is gonna take an event down soon.

@Andyfothershops, I'm sure that if you also took Monette or both David Baker's, you'd be running even further

Altigiun has done a great job, but for those who like to double-check, BLUFF's results now list the BLUFF POY and WSOP POY points side by side for each bracelet event.

Made me smile: Thanks

Not sure who else has dan smith but he could catapult me to the lead. Anyone else in the top ten have him?

I should 'a' listened

could a should a woulda

Ivey should really have been a lock though. My warped logic thought he might not play that many events and thought he might be out of practice.

If I'd spent 5 minutes googling Ben Lamb and Oliver Speidel, I'd have realised they werent playing many , if any events.

Logic isn't one of my strengths. My googling is awesome, I just didn't do any.

Rooting for Dan "my man" Smith now though. TID

Oh and congrats to Ryan (protential) Laplante for the 7th place.

You're the only one that has Dan Smith in your team.

And from the top 5, only KoolCaliban is getting points that event (14.25 for Buchanan), so you'll be catching up for at least 128 points, or upto 270 if he wins the event.

He'll be getting 285 (1st)/ 199.5 (2nd) / 142.5 (3rd) points for this event

Well, it's definitely not over yet, I'm looking forward to the One Drop. With Hellmuth winning a spot last minute I now have 6 players in this. Here's to hoping Deeb is "forced" to play as well But I guess I'm not the only one in the top ten with a bunch of players in the OD.

Winner of One Drop gets 300 poty points right?

i think it's only starting to get interested now. Tonight the One Drop event, and 6 more 10k events coming.

For tonight, it looks like Gebby has the best team to start the One Drop, with 9 players in, on the other hand Loosefoot only has 1 player in.

And yes, winner gets 300 points, so definately worth following.

im pissed. i picked antonious for the onedrop as he was one of the early confirmed registers. somewhere between then and now he grew a big vagina and is not playing.

not like i had a chance anyway but still stupid. next year if theres another onedrop we should wait to pick that slot until the confirmed list is in.
07-01-2012 , 02:34 PM
well that would'nt work cause people could just pick ivey for there team now and get 500 points
07-01-2012 , 03:19 PM
would be pretty easy. simply make it a one drop only event pick with no other scoring added.

Any idea how many points 2-9th get in the one drop?
07-01-2012 , 10:26 PM
I'm not completely sure on this, buti think the points breakdown is:

300 - 210 - 150 - 132 - 114 - 99 - 84 - 72 - 60

Looks like my run at the top will be over after the OneDrop, Trickett might be the key
07-03-2012 , 02:12 PM
I don't think it will be that bad for you.

in the top 7, everyone has Hellmuth, and only Hellmuth still in the OneDrop.
Mayhardu (8th place) has Hellmuth and Trickett.
Spfeifer (9th) has noone left.
Yaksha (10th) has Rast still in.

The big winner for this event will probably be NiomNiomPokerChips (13th). he still has Hellmuth, Trickett, and Rast.

And as i said a before, there's still a lot of 10k events coming, so a lot can still happen.

Congratz to NiomNiomPokerChips for winning 441 points in the OneDrop event. It's not exactly $18M, but it's a start...

Top 5 in points: (after event 55)

homanga - 2444,68
NiomNiomPokerChips - 2432,80
Andyfothershops - 2404,85
Mayhardu - 2370,19
KoolCaliban - 2313,56

^^^ wondering the same thing

So was I, I'm guessing not though, because it doesn't have an event number and isn't completely open.

so , has anyone worked out the permutations? Where does Danzer need to finish and where does Juanda need to finish for me to ship this? Or is there more to it? I started to try to work it out before, but a house full of drunk people doesnt make it easy.

Main event counts, with October-9ers points based on chip-count, so it's not yet done.
07-07-2012 , 06:52 PM
ah ok my bad
07-07-2012 , 07:18 PM
Yep, the main event could be a gamechanger... if i have it right, there's still a max of 2235 points to be earned in the Main event.

Also, the national championship didn't count for this draft (sorry for slow update on that)

And last of all, i checked, double checked, and triple-checked all the numbers today. I compared my results with the results that Bluff has provided, and found a few mistakes on my part. I didn't correct all the individual spreadsheets for every event, but the total points on the first page should be correct (not counting event 59, 60 and main event ofcourse).

I'll also provide a list of all the points for each player once event 59 and 60 are over, so you can check your points for yourself.

Good Luck for the Main Event !!
