He's basically a nameless bumhunter. I don't mean that in a bad way, I just don't think he'll be known at all. Everything he said in his thread indicates that he's legit.

yea i dont see why this is so noteworthy when ppl do these type of threads on here plenty of poker people love it, u dont have to be the bill gates of your field to interest people who arent super educated on it

Yeah good read, pretty clear it's legit and not a level. Agree with MLJ that he's some relative no-name.

"and its really common to end up breaking stuff or hurting yourself when it happens."

talking about tilt. hurting yourself when going on tilt is common? then I have never been on tilt. think I have have to switch to PLO to really feel the tilt.

lol I don't think he meant it in a self destructive way, more lige punching the a dry wall and hitting a supporting beam behind it or fistpumping the table a little too hard - not slashing your wrist in anger

The first thing that caught my attention was him dreaming/having nightmares about cards when he first started. I used to do this all the time when I first started too, but haven't in years since.

Ya, I had this too. I also used to take shots WAY to high for my bankroll when I started, like 5/10 and stuff, and would have panic attacks mid session and black out. It was pretty mental.

I still sometimes get it in certain spots (really deep in a large tournament) but it rarely happens now.

Apparently dreams of being back at school / college, and being late for classes - or realising towards the end of the year that you've not been attending a certain class you were supposed to, etc, are common with poker players, seemingly more than average.

I've had - and still get them - and was surprised with the response when I posted about it. Cool, and weird.

^ whoa. that is weird.
that is the ONLY recurring theme i've ever had in dreams for about the past two years.
a constant feeling of rushing around to get to a classroom-type place, and getting lost in a school that i felt so sure i knew. like a maze of classrooms and hallways. strange. i wonder why that is.

^ I didn't know two pair beat trips until yesterday, so I definitely haven't won $500k playing poker like the dude on Reddit says.
But I appreciate the second-hand brag
