More countries banned/removed from the global pool (although I believe in the long term they will come back)

Games continue to get tougher

Less RB/Rewards for players

2015 becomes the turning point. California joins NJ, NV and Delaware by legalizing online poker in some form. NY follows in a year or two after that. Adelson's casinos in US and Macau lose more business. Wynns casinos do too. And then we (online poker) all live happily ever after.

If online poker becomes legal in California, everything is going to change. The state has a population of 43 million, and there's a lot of money out there. We could see people coming from all over the world just to play. It could be revolutionary.

As usual, there will be plenty of variance, with intermittent bouts of heavy variance, occasional outbreaks of variance and some isolated showers of variance.
And Mark Newhouse will come 9th in the Main Event.

Here are some of mine;

Negraneau to end relationship with Amaya/Stars

Future of online poker in US will look much brighter , particularly in California

Major controversy at WSOP causes at least one event to be cancelled

Bitcoin will become a big player in online poker

Two former WSOP main event winners will die

Three future ones will be born

Phil Helmuth will fade away into obscurity and never be heard from again

NVG will be full of threads about cheaters and scammers.
