I don't agree with insulting other players, but if his body is affected by losing, than that's his own business.
I'll preface this by saying I know very little about basketball and that 2+2, the home of crap analogies, has found another worthy resident in the form of your post. However: tournament poker is a high variance way to make a living. Beats come thick and fast. There are several WPT events a year, and Phil will have other chances to go deep in them. Phil, as a long-time professional poker player, should be aware of all of this, and should be less highly-strung as a result.
I would imagine that the NBA finals occur annually. Basketball players have shorter careers than poker players. Therefore, they have a lot more emotionally invested into any event.
You don't think all poker players care? Fortunately, most of them are man enough to deal with situations better than this.

Big deal, he laid down on the floor. How does that even compare with other people high-fiving you losing $50,000 on a hand you should have won $100k?
& while the fish is totally freerolling, (& prob Daniel, too), I sincerely doubt Helmuth is.
Ante - I wasn't arguing that Daniel isn't an idiot. He is. However, it doesn't make Hellmuth's lifetime of acting like a complete asshat in any way acceptable. When was it that he started berating Roothlus and the dealer in the 88 vs QT hand? 2008?
The guy is an immature douchebag. The sooner Hellmuth lunchbox owners admit it, the easier it will be for everyone.
