not being able to choose which tables are linked is dumb and needs to fixed. often the table i just joined through waitlist gets linked to new table, not the table starting table


sorry for always moaning but yeh this is wrong. im on table 1 which is full with a rec. i started a second table which is now all full with regs who waitlisted the 1st table. so now i got to battle with 5 other regs with 0 reward as im already on the first table. so now i have to leave and get kicked of this table? bit unfair.

This is one of the stupidest terms used in poker this bumhunt, yes it was bunhunt ten yrs ago where u had rakeback of50% cant win in reg games anymore when u pay 8bb in rake.


And lets be honest pokerstars u are just trying to delay the time casuals lose their money to give them more chance to open ur slots and bettings where is hiding the real predator who eats casuals rolls in seconds.

How are we still allowing pokerstars to mock us like sheeps telling us of predatory behaviour when they have slots and betting and roullets without any limits or restrictions.

The real reason 500nl is dead is not because of lack of casuals is because of poker economy at micros, vvvv few regs can get out of that at this point, give 50% rakeback at micros in1year u will have 20 tables at 500nl running, reward reg games with rakeback

stars is doing everything in its power to become (or stay) worse than gg poker

they just riding the best pokersite train they are advertising on tv. it will crush fast, ggpoker soft also much better than stars and way more fun evan for casuals.

not sure why you would bring up rush in a thread about regular tables. people complaining about these changes don't play zoom. also not sure why im arguing with a brand new account shilling for gg in every comments.

lol, nobody kjnows how exactly this works, but already implemented. This would seem like an okay idea though, if there was no 4 max table cap.

am fish, just logged on to play. I like playing 4 tables cash with a beer - no idea what's going on. Kept trying to join a table with 5 players, said I need to be on the wait list. Huh? I just kept spamming join until it sat me at 4 random (?) tables. then try and join other WLs and it says something about playing hands. Way too confusing, explanation doesn't make sense.

However, after 45 minutes on the original 4 tables they all had VPIPs > 25% which would never happen normally, would be full of regs/nits. So maybe I get what they're trying to do but this system sucks. Why not just have one long wait list across stakes and next in line gets the next available seat?

Well, looking from a business standpoint where the customer base that pokerstars is trying to attract being depositing recs and not withdrawing pros who busts the recs who do not care about rake etc...this move does make sense.

1am Euro time...only 3 tables running at plo50 on stars.
6 tables running on Ipoker.
11 tables on gg.
1 table on party(not surprisingly)

Well then why not just ban all winners which sportbooks do and just have inhouse bots playing against the recs that deposit, as a business standpoint. Poker is meant to be a competitive fair game, the house takes a rake and should be happy with that.

If they did that, it would completely kill the cash games. No one wants to play against bots. I think this move was likely their best attempt at trying to strike a balance between stopping "bumhunting", yet still giving an opportunity for players to play cash games and recs to not feel like they are constantly being hunted. Perhaps they may make adjustments as time goes on.

It is just amazing how clueless the people are that makes these major decisions for pokersites. Like seriously, the person responsible for these decision has zero clue. This will litterally only have negative impact as far i as can tell. I really dont see a positive outcome from this for anyone.

im the opposite. this feels like genius by pokerstars if theyre only interested in pokerstars.

yesterday there were 3-6 tables of 500nl all regs battling because the lobby is such a mess and its hard to police it yourselves. so theyre making a ton more rake.

compared to before it was only ever 1 table of battling until a rec joins, then another table.

on lower stakes the volume has dropped so significantly that there is no way they are making more rake

I don’t really hate the idea, I only hate how much harder it is to get 4 tables going because there’s way less open seats. What used to take me 3 minutes to organize 4 tables has now turned into 15-20 minutes sometimes.

there is no benefit only huge disadvantages, i do hate the idea and the execution

they ruined starting a session even more than they've already done in the past years

Stop f-n whining and become good. Never again say that liveplayers suck when you cant even stand 1 hour playing against online regs at NL50..
