It's probably not watchable by everyone everywhere, sorry.

Overall the guy (and poker) came off as well as can be hoped, especially in comparison to the other bozos featured on the episode. It's an interesting portrait of someone who seems well spoken and has a steady day job, but feels the strong lure of poker. Worth watching, IMO.

There's also a post-episode, follow-up piece on him and the other two:

It's really unwatchable period. Especially the part where Phil Hellmuth randomly shows up on the street and start telling him about a hand he just played. As if MTV and Phil Hellmuth didnt arrange that at all.

What types of things can you do on your own now?

It's still hard for me to do things alone, and it takes a lot to get me out of the house without Sean. This might so simple, but now I can do little things myself sometimes. Yesterday, I went to the drug store by myself, and honestly, it was hard. It's extremely hard for me to do things on my own.
from the dirtbag twins on the same episode

A lot more 13-21 year olds than watch the WSOP on ESPN. Or are you expecting the future player pool to magically appear out of thin air?

Aside from the obviously staged Hellmuth interlude at the end, it seemed really odd that this guy opted for South Point for this first cash game. They must've paid for placement.

Or they were the only casino that let them film.

I'm surprised True Life is still on the air. I assumed this thread was 5 years old and was about Jesse Sylvia.

It doesnt really air weekly. They just sort of plop them out there every few months, 3 or 4 at a time.

This is the 22nd season. Almost 400 episodes.
