I loaned this guy $10K.... He still has not paid me back.. It's been 2 weeks already. (The reason I loaned him was b/c I'm paying back the favor of him loaning me money when I was broke)

I know him from AC Borgata for over 5 years... He always play highest stakes.. so he has the money... Little disturbing that I haven't seen my money yet..

Just curious to see if any members have any outstanding loans to poker acquaintances/friends... Post how much you are owed and for how long..

When do you start to get worried? and start thinking about writing off the bad loan?

i try not to loan money out to ppl even good friends, kinda complicates the relationship. with that said, im owed 500$ from a stake gone bad

One of my best friends still owes me $50 from about a year ago when he didn't pay my other friend for doing his HW and I ended up paying the one who did the HW out of my stars roll. Beat- I could really use the money but I really don't care that much.

$180, 2 months. Good friend, but completely broke, so probably will see it hopefully within a year.

Was owed $500 for about a month from a guy who bowled with me, had a decent job and wanted to dabble in online poker. He said he'd get it to me the next week, that turned into the next and the next, was worried, but eventually got it back no prob.

Was asked for $2-4K, and didn't entertain the thought of loaning it, even though it was a good friend. When I assessed the situation, I figured the soonest I'd see the return was 2yrs+, and there was a greater than 50% chance I wouldn't see it for longer.

I ordered this pay-movie on ComcastOnDemand that cost $2.95. The order supposed to be good for 24 hours. Right when the movie was starting my GF gets a phone call so we stop the movie. When we go to start it up again it's not in the saved programs so I had to order it again. I'm pretty sure I got double-charged and Comcast owes me $2.95.
