Small prop sites can be extremely profitable with soft games and 100% RB. It is a tradeoff, higher profit for higher risk. I have propped for 7 years and have never failed to receive funds. I have been cheated twice to my knowledge but I think the RB made up for it.

The trick is to cash out every week and keep only what you need on the sites. Well worth it IMO. Obviously only if you play small stakes.

I am starting a new career in Oct. though, and am leaving my roll on stars now since I won't be around all the time to babysit it, and that RSA token is might nice...

They didn't delete them until we uncovered the indentities of the people behind this site. The day that Kevin Baronowsky was linked to pitbull poker is the day the hands were taken down. My guess is he/they know there is no point trying to deny anything at this point and are simply destroying evidence in the hopes that nothing can be legally proven. A failed business is better than a jail sentence.

But seriously, a smoking gun would be like those scatter plots the UB/AP people made, showing that the superusers were unlike any other poker player in terms of ability to profit.

i smell cheaters.

the smoking gun in AP's case was the infinite river aggression stat for Doubledrag

The poker community should help protect all poker players regardless of the site that they play at. I do think that the players should be held partially at blame for getting ripped off, this does not however, allow Pitbull Poker to rip people off because they are some "small site with 100 players".

If we can bring UB down to it knees we should be able to shut this site down fairly quickly. Please do not make fun of the people trying to protect poker players from getting ripped off, they are doing a good thing! we should support them to the fullest!

Good job guys! lets bring this POS site down and any other small site that rips its customer off! It is going to be very difficult for the US government to make online poker legal if they think that its citizens can get ripped off, no matter how small the site is. This is an important issue for all of us!

If someone has the names/addresses of people involved with this company (owners, investors, employees, friends, family, etc) that would be the best first step to resolving this issue.

There are several good rooms that are small. Doyles room, RPM poker, aced poker, bodog.... Just because they are small rooms does not mean that that you are not safe in playing.

The small rooms that were designed to rip people off are the real problem. These sites are giving the "GOOD" small rooms a bad name.

Please read chesterboy's links. I was too, skeptical, and trust me: cheating or not, superusing or not, this is one site you do not want to deposit your money in.

No hand histories... ring a bell anyone?
lol, for every "tinfoil hat conspiracy" poster on this forum, there's three "head buried in the sand" posters who always chime in:
* "Quit talking about it, it's bad for online poker". I always love this one.
* "I demand empiracle evidence now" when of course, there's little empirical evidence, as the investigation is ongoing.
* "You should have proof when making such accusation". As if a bunch of guys yakking on some internet forum was tantamount to authoring an article in the Washington Post.

Anyone who deposits more than $50 on some random site without assurances they are straight-up deserves what they get. How could anyone play for more than micro-stakes without keeping their own histories through PT or some other tracking software? And if their system won't let you track your results and histories because it's not compatable, again, why are you playing on it? This keeps boggling my mind, and cracks me up everytime I read some random UB player whining cause UB won't come off old Hand Histories.

It would be better if you read the thread first, start to finish, so you could save yourself the embarrassment of looking like an uninformed jackass.

i got a free 10 bucks on there and played about 200 hands and twice my hand was dealt face down so i had no idea what i held.

wasnt there a thread here somewhere where the head of pitbull answered a load of questions?
07-25-2009 , 08:54 PM
That happened to me on a poker.com skin the other day, dealt face down.

He was responding in the zoo thread until the **** hit the fan. Now he's presumably busy selling steroid creams and dodgy sky+ boxes.

I have read it. I see accusations and namecalling from idiots who probably don't shave yet, but I see no proof or anything.

For all I know OP is some superstitious donk who thinks he lost so it must be RIGGEDAMENTS, because I'm seeing no evidence of any thing but an obsession with whoever owns the site in question.

I talked with someone that worked very closely with the guys from this 'company' for a few today.

The 'facts' I took from the conversation were:

Kevin Baronowski skipped rent from this place three months ago:

Casa 42
Residencial Vista Alegre
Escazu
Costa Rica

The landlord would love to reconnect.

He changed his celly number, and his office number.

The rake was shaved in the software somewhere to rip off affiliates.
Additionally, money was taken from accts that were dormant a couple months or more, and kept by the guys in the company.. which included this kevin fellow, and his cousin Jordan.

Kevin's a cocaine user.

Kevin told my - very reliable source- that they adjust the rake to cheat the affiliates and that they steal the money out of the dormant accounts.

Quote:
and they do not pay affiliates all that is owed to them
[6:53:25 PM] Source: they hide some of the rake
[6:53:40 PM] Cathy Roberts: did they tell you that?
[6:53:48 PM] Source: Kevin told me that
That's all he had though, no news or info as to in game cheating. I posted to include the address.

Well so far about 4 or 5 independent posters, who have been vouched for by other posters, have come forward to describe the same kind of suspicious play. If not proof, it definitely looks worth investigating.

2 threads should be merged.

But still, hand histories were available until very recently, right? There should be enough data to confirm or deny more than just suspicions, right?

Spend more time writing about that than about what web servers are being used, seriously.

Hand histories were extremely cumbersome and difficult to parse until just recently, as you could only view them one by one in visual form only. When wind caught that the players were trying to parse hand histories to look for foul play (which takes time) lo and behold the histories mysteriously vanished and the pitbull manager stopped responding. If this isn't your "smoking gun," then there isn't going to be one.

Pitbull needs to get their s*** together here. And why does that Dave Brenes guy all of a sudden disappear??

I understand...but vague domain histories of websites don't establish that there are superusers.
LOL - I love when random Timmys like you flex your little e-muscles and play doubting Thomas in the face of the obvious in your pathetic quest for attention.

It sounds like he recently got married too. We are getting closer to this guy. He has screwed over a lot of people and they are coming out of the woodwork with some fun details i can't really post here yet.

Any site that gives you free money to sign up if obv a scam.
07-26-2009 , 01:09 AM
I played there briefly and built a smallish roll quickly cause it was fish infested. And one day was playing hunl an opponent sat down and just murdered me badly after one session. So I continued to play 4 more with the same opponent and got beat badly every time. The only way I would win was when I flopped a set or flush. Besides that if I didnt hit the flop hard op wasnt going anywhere. I am by no means a great hu player but ill claim I was better then most on that site. I mean some plays where very odd I would have flush draw or whatever and op would call down with q high after I fired every street. So I started getting very suspicious and asked op if they where cheating obv wasnt looking for a true answer but just wanted to c how he(she) would respond. And after I accused the op of cheating I got a response of lol mr.first name and my last age and then asked me if I was native american and by the way I am obv. and then said I was kinda cute and split. So I withdrew my money asp and never played there again..this was years ago btw.

FYI: *op=opponent not original poster*
