Don't know if swallowing small pieces is more dangerous, but I'm pretty sure it's quite safe if the pieces are small enough.

My kiwi mate who performed the glass eating on several occassions(for free) came to me with a bet.One i wish i hadnt excepted on his behalf.

We were on a away trip in Wigan(England)when Palmer(the crazy Kiwi)came up to me with the bet of 50pounds(about 80bucks U.S i think) from every player if Palmer were to poop put it on a piece of bread and eat it.TURD SANDWICH.

He said it was up to me to agree on his behalf.I said do it as i actually thought the crazy bastard would then tell me to f%ck%ff.Palmer then went sweet its on like diddy kong(his exact words).

With us all drinking up on the rooftop of the hotel Palmer comes out holding his Turd Sandwich.No word of a lie(swear on my life)he scoffs the sandwich down to the chorus of 10 or so blokes dryreaching/vomiting.

With **** all over his face he calls us all a bunch of Softcocks and f#ck the money he dont want money from a bunch of wankers.

He then went off somewhere until the management staff found the lunatic slumped on the floor of a fire exit in vomit a few hours later.

As i make a fair bit of $$ playing sport im merely a human donation machine to any decent poker players as i have relatively very limited skills.Im back in Australia now and mate i tell you all poker is going great guns over here.None existant when i left for overseas a few years ago.

As for 10grand given to a word famous illusionsist for eating some glass, from the wallet of a multi millionaire poker pro aint anything too exciting for some.

Im definetly not attempting to belittle your post Bronx Bomber as im aware it aint exactly normal behaviour for people to perform such acts as eating Glass.Just happens to be one of the many ridiculous things i get to see in my life amongst fellow rugby meatheads.(Usually under the influence of way too much alcohol).

If Mr Ivey or any other cashed up Poker Pros have anymore crazy bets they would like to make i have Palmers number and Email and im sure he would do it for a tenth of the going rate.

Actually im prettysure he would do it for a case of booze.

Obviously its hard for people not in countries where rugby is a pro sport to believe some of the antics players get up to.

Ask most Aussies,Kiwis and poms(also several other Euro nations) and im sure they could fill you in on some bonehead Rugby boys playing up around town.

Anyway off my Rugby stories.Im just wondering on others advice for a decent online site.I play on Party Poker from time to time but as they dont offer too many tournies im mostly playing sng's.I wish the U.S would realise its a humans right to be able to gamble.lol

I think Party poker once claimed to be the worlds biggest site but since i have been playing i tend to dissagree.

Blaine isn't really spectacular by any means, but Angel seriously annoys the **** out of me. DB's more about endurance type **** and human stunts, more of an entertainer who happens to do street magic than anything else.

Op,

Chances are that Ivey knows Blain eats glass(probably smaller amounts). Therefore I dont see it sick on Iveys end to make the challenge, nor is it so sick for Blain to accept(since he has eaten glass). However if I was in the table next to them and I saw it, I would think, "Wow that is so sick".

Eating glass is an old trick. When I lived in upstate New York, I had a buddy we all called 'Hippie Scott'. He was a great guy, a lot of fun to hang out with, and had zero ambition. All he ever really wanted was enough cash to follow his favorite bands around (Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, etc, natch) and buy beer and bananas.

He would work odd jobs, do some occasional construction, and...eat glass. He did the latter as a bar trick, sometimes just so he and his friends could drink free all night, but if we were in a new bar where no one knew him, he would get people to pony cash up on the bar to bet against his being able to eat an entire beer bottle, except for the thick bottom of the bottle.

People were always amazed, and he always won. He had very strong, healthy teeth. He told me the trick was just to grind the glass into small enough pieces, almost into sand, before swallowing. Then it would just pass harmlessly through his system. I saw him do this at least 30 times over 5 years. I never got tired of watching the crowd's faces, both when he began eating the glass and when he scooped their money off of the bar.
