Looks like Ivey got the tougher draw with all the big stacks, but he is Ivey so I like him over Ramdin.

Don't you want to be at the table with the chips? I know I don't know much about tournaments, but I thought I knew this.

The HU and the PLO/PLHE start at the same time today (in 13 minutes). Wonder what Ivey's strategy is? Shove fest in the HU and hope his opponent calls?

Nevermind..

Quote:
Phil Ivey is making a deep run in Day 3 of the PLO/PLH event, so he and his third-round opponent Kido Pham agreed to bump their heads-up match forward to an earlier time. They played it out at 1:00 p.m. here in the Amazon Room, and the battle was a quick one.

Pham eliminated Ivey in less than ten minutes, and he's the first one through to the Round of 32.

i'd give David Chiu better odds than Ramdin, and maybe even Burt Boutin?

In less than ten minutes. So much for Ivey winning two bracelets at once...

Probably the first time in awhile that I read of Phil Ivey busting out by making an incorrect call for all his chips, in two tourneys no less. KJ < AA on J-high flop for the #32 and aces < top set in #33.

Obviously those were fairly standard situations and Phil Ivey is capable of making mistakes...but we secretly think/wish he wasn't.

Calling off all your chips when you get raised on a j44 flop with aces in Omaha is pretty ridonkulous. So much for the Ivey is God theory...

Sure, if you're playing online and don't know anything about how someone might be playing, it's horrifically terrible.
