I haven't spoken to him since then, but suspect he'll be in a place by the end of the week.

Guys today is the first day he can relax and play the freerolls. I would be willing to bet today he gets out of the first round. Lets not panic about qualifying, he has only played 3 or 4 of these and got sucked out every time he got busted. These are really marginal players and hundreds advance to the next round.
