I have been with betfair for over 3 years now playing many many hands there and have had only one bad experience with them. When I first started putting in a lot of volume at their site I once got disconnected in a hand where I had raised pre and gotten a caller. Then I got client crash or a disconnection, cant remember which, and as I reconnected I had timed out and checked the flop as the aggressor. My opponent had put out a bet and as I had an overpair I raised the flop and as it so happened we went all-in on the flop.

I contacted betfair and raged over getting this client crash/disconnection which were quite common occurences on the old client (before they merged into ongame network). In my rage I suggested that I should get a partial refund for the hand because if I had not been crashed the all-in would not have happened. A few hours later they refunded my entire losses in the hand, roughly $300 I want to recall.

Apart from that my other experiences with the betfair and their staff has also been great.

Lastly, the past weekend I went to this event where Peter signed with betfair and played him in a £100 HU SNG. I got AA second hand and beat him. I am pretty sure he was randomly there to meet with some danish friends who were also there and making me believe this signing was initiated pretty spontaneously after he turned up there.

Greed has destroyed this company.
They revolutionised sports betting with the concept of punter taking on punter, taking 2-5% commision. Now if u are consistent winner u have to pay 40% commision. Its all greed.

All this hate for Betfair. they do next day cashout for £6. They have never ever screwed me around for money. the software is obv pretty poor, but is made up for by the horrible fish on ongame. Of all the sites Eastgate could have signed for, Betfair is far from the worst imo.

They have definietly made mistakes due to excessive greed such as not paying out on the casino deal and bringing in the premium charge but their poker software is on ongame which is reputable and when I used to play on them before they moved to ongame they were very efficient with cash outs.

I'm currently clearing a bonus at BetFair and I have to say I have seen much worse...

I have played on betfair in the past although i haven't for a while now.
I always used Neteller and money was in my account approx 12 hours
later when i made a withdrawal request.

Why on earth would you pay £6 for a next day cashout ?

i dont know anything about betfair but the interview in op is a top notch yawn fest.
