Meanwhile, Blom collects his dough and disappears into the Caribbean day, as silently as he arrived - not a word, not a sound.

The only thing left is his empty chair from the final table, like a throne of greatness without its king. But that too will soon become a part of this rare moment in history, as Liv Boeree and Daniel Negreanu initiate a fight to the death over who gets to carry it to their hotel room.

As the darkness takes over the studio and the rail dissolves, the Champion is nowhere to be seen. But that does not matter. Everyone who was there - in person or in spirit - will know that they were part of something special on this day.

"He did it!" a jubilant PokerStars employee cries as he leaves the studio. "One day, we will all ask ourselves where we were on this night!" he screams, as he kneels to the ground and slams his fist into the carpets of the Atlantis, his heart literally bursting through the patches on his chest.

"I know" says Galen Hall, heading for the cash games with his runner-up money. "He ****ing did it, didn't he?"

Hall's entourage silently nods. No one needs to speak, no one has anything to add. It's history now, they seem to say, an epic win added to the annals of modern poker in the most beautiful way imaginable. It could not have been anyone else, they all quietly agree.

"Isildur-****ing-one", says Shak, shaking his head as he leaves the scene. "Such a good kid. Such a talent, such an innocent European. I mean, who can compete with that?!"

No one has an answer. No one wants to answer.

Somewhere on the island, a bottle of champagne pops, and a steel drum band starts to play. Voices, perhaps Swedish, are singing. At first they seem to be near by, but then they too vanish into the unknown.

And just like that - it's all over.
I love you.

Hall woke up with a monster and held through the {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} board to lock up the double.

Red what? He could sitout form this tourney and say that his 3rd place prizemoney go to charity of stars choice and then log on to pokerstars client, lose $1m and still be up more on poker than the combined posters in this thread. Where did people get that he's ever been in the red since his $2k deposit?

If Isildur ships it, he's going online to play high stakes, because he has the money.

If Isildur busts out early, he'll probably be tilted and go online to play high stakes.

Quick Break
Posted 1 minute ago by EricRamsey • Level 18: 25,000-50,000, 5,000 ante

Viktor Blom has to pee.

He was kind enough to grant Galen Hall and Dan Shak a short break before dinner, so they've returned the favor and allowed him to step away. We'll be back in a flash.

Session vs Galfond wasn't over yet
