...does not justify the thread title: "Michigan has changed its stance on online poker" ~ I see nothing written in the link you provided, that indicates his support [or otherwise] for online real money poker in Michigan. In fact statement [2] is absolutely neutral - he's not so foolish as to express an opinion on this given the importance of casino gambling taxes to the revenues of cities such as Detroit.
A change of stance would take a few years just to figure out rewording/additions to state law, licensing, the relation to existing B&M gambling, etc etc.
the point is to use the letter to force his hand to change his stance. I get that michigan hasnt changed its stance...i wrote that to **** with u guys.
Theres not enough positivity in the poker lobbying world man...just keep calling...its almost legal.
