Obvious post is obvious, but somebody who only knows those terms but has never used them in any sort of hand situation is going to lose a lot more than somebody who just plays basic strategy, especially at low limits.

88 would have lost too, though.

If anyone believes he thought he had 88 go kill yourself. He's trying to save face because he feels embarrassed.

The coverage had to change and this is much better. I like Tuckman an Bus.... (SP) even more.

Maybe if it was 83 you could believe his story about misreading. I think he just tried to make a move and got caught and doesnt want to admit going all in with 82. He probaly had some big plans to turn up the bluff like a champ.

Saying that they have been playing for a long time so it is possible he is just so tired he did misread but i dont see how a 2 looks like an 8.

So admitting to misreading your hand and putting yourself at-risk with only a few players left in the WSOPME is somehow...better?

Not saying he's lying or telling the truth, but it's not like that's not embarassing in it's own right.

killing myself certainly seems rational here, however i think it's MUCH more embarrassing to have misread your hand than to make a bad shove short.

Yes, it's so bad that you're the only person in a thread of hundreds of poker players who gives a ****.

I'm assuming the next time you have a losing session you're going to be mentally screaming at Oliver? LOL. What a joke. Do you realize how many people play poker? Do you realize how many people aren't watching this stream on ESPN3.com? ESPNTHREE.

Who gives a damn? It's truly sad if this is "really upsetting you".
