Then he finished 4th in the EPT Monte Carlo and 3rd in EPT Prague and - boom - he was never seen again, at least not under the well known screen names (aside from two smallish donkaments in Australia in late 2010).

I ended up in this thread because I typed "what happened to Alex Jacob" into google. Guess I wasn't the only one wondering about him. Last time I saw him was several years ago playing 2/5nl at the Wynn looking super withered, and hadn't seen him since. I'll always remember reading his epic post in the 50/100 Mahatma thread, such an eye-opener at the time (2005 lol).

Anyway, I see some of the people mentioned ITT around Vegas. I don't know these people personally, so I'm not speculating on their bankroll or what they're doing in their lives, just reporting what I see.

Allen Cunningham: See him rarely in tournaments >$1000 buy-in. Played with him in a $1600 at the Wynn in October '12.

Annette 15 / Yellowsub (Jeff Williams): See them every few months playing 5/10nl at Aria. Really enjoy playing with Annette, she's super nice.

Kenna James: See him a lot. Plays 2/5 or 5/10nl and a lot of smaller tournaments ($400 range).

Michael DiMichele: Seen him playing black chip mixed games at Bellagio and Aria a few times over the years.

Nenad Medic: Mentioned ITT as "probably in Vegas grinding cash." I've never seen him playing.

As for Peter Eastgate, there was a cardplayer (Bluff?) article about Eastgate a couple years after he won the Main where he basically said that he knew where he stood in the poker world, that he was a successful highstakes player but was never going to be a top nosebleed player, and he felt he had topped out more or less. As far as I know he just kind of burned out, took his money and left the game.
