We are hoping to be joined on the Pokercast tomorrow by Poker's newly crowned champion. If you have any questions you would like to have him answer, please post them ITT.

Also, keep this thread on topic as it will be modded more heavily than other threads in NVG.

The show will be taped tomorrow and up in our forum and on itunes on Thursday morning.

about QQ hand against o'dea;
what is the bottom of his shipping turn range, cause he looked pretty painful shoving QQ with flushdraw.and thought process of hand basicly.

Will you pose with Bunner?

Whats the most satisfying, the gigantic prize or the recognition/fame/respect?

The feeling of the thought of having a great chance of taking it down - compared to actually pulling it off? Longterm the answer is obv but say the time during the days with 27 left compared to the 24h after winning?

Will you make sure to heavily market yourself to introduce more Germans to poker and thus improve the general poker players economy?

What were his thoughts in the hand where he had 98 for two pair on a very scary potential flush and straight board. (a single jack would have made a straight) when he shipped all-in over villains bet, when it seems like he's either way ahead or way behind. Was this thin value? or an attempt to fold out a jack?

The commentators said that they didn't think either party had people checking the hand histories, but I am wondering if that's the case.

Q: Did he have anyone checking up on hands for him and did he learn about Staszko's c/r fold with q6 of hearts on the j54hh board? And if so was that a factor for him jamming AQ on the KTxcc board? What was his thought process on the AQ hand that gave him the huge chiplead?

Q: What aspect of Staszko's game was surprising to him the most when they got HU and what kind of specific adjustments was heinz trying to make as the match progressed?

what part his planning for the final table resulted in his aggression in the first 30 hands

Q: what was the bar tab at the end of the night

Is it hard to conceal tells since you are supposedly much more nervous on the ME FT than on any other poker table? Conversely, is it easier to pick up on opponents tells?

Or are you just in the zone and its only chips to you, not real money?

Yes please

Please ask him about the 4 bet jam w AQ against Stazkos Q9cc (gut shot flush draw where Stazko doubled him up) i thought that was a mistake but i am really interested in his thoughts on that hand. I feel i have something to learn from this hand.

Also thought he played great.

2nd question it seemed as if he started to adjust to Stazko trying to win every hand. i wonder what was his strategy to adjusting to Stazkos aggression there. it seemed like he changed gears quite well. So 2nd question is what made him change gears? was it stazkos aggression or his stack sizes.( i am sure you can ask a littlebit better )

Q: What was his thought process behind the hand with 98 vs Staszko where he shoved the river.

This is the first time I have seen major German media talk about the WSOP at all. There will undoubtly be a lot more in the news now that you have won.

Any thoughts on what the effects will be for poker in Germany? I am a little afraid that the attention could speed up negative legislation on online poker, on the other hand I am hopeful for many new German players.

Do you have any plans of using your influence to change the face of poker in Germany, maybe built up some kind of interest group or whatever?

Also, congratulations!

- Who was the best player at the final table?

- Are you going to play high stakes cash games now?

What were the downsides to waiting months to play the final table?

I'd like to know his thoughts on both players' respective rails having obnoxious chants/singing after one of them won a pot. Both seemed to ignore it and stay completely focused, which is impressive. I'm wondering if he encouraged his rail to chant loudly for him to give him momentum/tilt his opponent, or if he just let them do their thing and focus on the game. Also nh gg wp

+1 (Seriously )

Q: Did you follow the German meda coverage? How does it feel to see ones face in the main stream German media?

Q: Are you going to be on German TV? Maybe TV Total? Or any other? (I hardly watch any TV, but I would really like to see an interview with him.)

Q: Some German media claimed you to be a "Kölner" (Cologne), some claimed you are a "Bonner" (city of Bonn). Is that funny in your eyes?

Q: How did you transition to live poker? Do you play in any German casinos?

Q: Most degenerate thing you did / bought etc.?

Q: (MJ asking obv) Please teach me how to pronounce the names of Germann poker pros like Sebastian Ruthenberg, Sandra Naujoks, Marvin Rettenmaier, Tobias Reinkemeier, Thomas Boekhoff etc.

ask him about the 15 min delay, how he tried to take advantage and which other player he thinks used this extra feature the best. Does he consider it a good thing?
11-09-2011 , 07:56 AM
ask him to describe this fabled day one hand where he just flatted a raise w/ nut flush vs. str8 flush. curious if this was legit insano bullet dodge or if it was like 4 flushed and/or paired board.

Can Pius please tell us about the nut flush vs straight flush hand in the early stages of the tournament. Assuming it's been correctly reported does Pius consider his decision to call (rather than re-raise) in that spot to be one of the most crucial moments on his path to victory.
