I recently reflected over a drink that almost every other small time grinder tourist i meet has a comped room ,easiest TI/MIRAGE or mgm grande/tropicana/southpoint even the wynn .My point is...if the bottom of the food chain is getting comps off 300.00 buyins then is vegas the kingdom of p00n and cake is it and sadly could it be going like AC ,im pretty sure AC was dropping the bar persay whilst they laid sickly on deathwatch.Ilooked at the bottom of my drink for a answer and stared at the waitresses bum for a resolution .

this thread ought to be allowed in NVG, as it could turn out to be a major issue and at the very least there's some valuable security education / info for online poker players that a wider audience would benefit from seeing.

It's an important issue and the negative feedback thread only accounts for people who have already done something wrong, this thread is to shut down already corrupt ppl ***** **** up for all.

I responded to your PM, but you didn't offer any proof of anyone doing anything whatsoever, only invited people to speculate.

If you want to accuse people of violating TOS or doing scummy/shady things, you need proof. Otherwise inviting a witch hunt or sheer speculation on who "might" be MAing or using VPNs is inappropriate, not the least of which any thread with the latter subject invariable leads to people sneaking in requests for info on how to accomplish this themselves.

I'm starting to regret this vouch. I had high hopes for the thread, since it meaned more people got exposed to it and PokerStars needed to formulate an answer, but it turned into a horrible thread the last 150 posts.

While I have seen bj help make a mess of threads in the past, I really haven't seen that happening in the Stars hacking thread. What I have seen, though, is quite a few people labeling those they disagree with "shills" and "trolls", and they certainly aren't helping the thread by doing so.

I think the thread is a success. I asked the guys in my 45man Skype group if they had seen the thread and were aware of the problem and they had. Michael J from pokerstars has apparently taken some ideas/feedback from it.

I might be seen on here as a poster with a low sensitivity to argumentative behavior

but surely those two things are more important than whether or not people are being nice to each other, which tbh was a high hope anyway.

I'm glad! To be fair I made my post when people (like Professionalpoker pointed out, led by that specific user) in addition to calling each other troll and shill were calling each other idiots and morons every other post, over some minor detail that really did not matter in this case. Michael J's action are well received by me also.

Why was the thread by NNNobodYY deleted? I assume that he requested it. If so, are those requests always followed? He seemed to give a lot of mis-information and claim it to be true.

IMO, he created a thread to get public support, and when he didnt get it, he decided to delete his thread. It just seems to me that he should have to live with the results. It might actually help him.

Why is the Dutch Boyd apology thread still a sticky? It was created 9 months ago and closed 3 weeks after that. I know MM is a proud man but do we really have to have ancient minor news like that taking up space at the top of the forum for so long? At this stage I can't see what purpose it serves other than irritating forum users.

tbh I think it's a stupid sticky at this point. Nearly everyone has already formed an opinion of him for better or worse. If he's not actively trying to take something from 2+2 then it should be archived.

It's obviously ridiculous to have this stickied still. It's an eyesore and absolutely nobody cares about it except Mason. But I don't think Mason really cares what anyone else thinks about it either, so there really no point arguing against it.
