Seems like quite the overreaction.

Also, someone who sits in observer chat just to rip someone and make them feel bad about themselves clearly has many emotional and self-hate issues of their own. To see that he is still doing it to this day is quite sad. Why does he need anymore hate from you...seems like he hates himself enough already to continue doing these things.

yeah, a good interview with "Sussie Smith"

http://www.poker.se/artiklar/7796197...umeliotis.html

Run it through google translate or have a nice swede to translate, I am grinding atm, I can provide some random cliffs and summarize it by quick glances and freestylewritedowns though

--; cliffs&summarize not 100% correct etc.

never transitioned into other games

he made a active choice to phase out poker(NLHE cash), and pick upp university for real this time around. He have enlisted every fall basically his whole poker career and always struck out after the initiation parties because of its being such a low priority. Now its his highest priority, and MTT-travelling and MTT-online play on a more casual level can coexist with studying as he loves the game to much to quit altogether.

bunch of namedropping, he hangs with a few other former swedish poker giants. More namedropping about whom he played against.

He thinks Mikael Thuritz is probably the GOAT

He thinks Ivey lives up to his reputation. The man came up early, and stayed on top. Hustler in heart, the stories he have heard about Ivey regarding some pretty small sums had him surprised(not in a very hoof way I took it) -> Hustler in heart. Ivey is faking alot regarding how aware he is of todays "talk", the "whats equity" classic etc. it is ALOT harder to figure someone out if you do not know how they think at all. Talk to someone and the "mystique" disappears rather quickly and you figure out their thought process and on what grounds they act. Ivey throws you off deliberately.

He ends it with saying that tournament poker isn't him phasing out from the world of poker itself, its just a easier way to still play somewhat and keep in touch with people whilst studying for real.

edit: real pretty boy.

to the right obv

any signs of Isil? it would suck if he's gone from poker, such a great entertainment he is, but it is better personal choice for him, otherwise poker will destroy his young soul

he plays HU LO8 from time to time and HU mixed

Don't understand why you'd raise the turn with that hand. Turn overbet polarises KT's range so what better hands are ever gonna fold? If you think he bluffs enough just call. Maybe raising for protection and to avoid a hard river spot but meh seems like a bad c/r overall to me.

Nah, it's the one pair hand with probably the biggest positive gap between EVraise and EVcall (where both could be negative, both could be positive, or there could be some mix thereof*). The BTN's bluffing range is going to have like 20-25% equity against 54, so getting most of that to fold would be a huge win.

But unless the BB is a skilled FEEL player, which is unlikely because he's not Swedish, he has to make sure not to raise a range that is obviously [dogpoop].

*Any BTN strategy that overbets a mix of [95, Q5, K5, JT] for value (instead of just, say, 55 and K5) that allows this hand to continue profitably against a 1.4x overbet is probably bad.

Maybe he trusts your game selection skills as much as your poker skills

We are still waiting for your TD 2-7 power ranking. One time?

so mean
10-23-2014 , 11:47 AM
eh im confused. i intended to say i would not suggest taking my side vs ike (and not vs u and many othersas well )

2-7 powerranking make little sense, as there is nobody who i want to play who doesnt give me action right now and would do after me doing a powerranking. also there are so few matches going on that its close to impossible to say whos best (not that its easy in nl, but nl had a lot of action over the years and at least some rankings are easier to make there). also i dont wanna kill anyone's action (i guess he doesnt mind me saying since everyone knows anways, ragen is one of the two players)

im sure not to have an edge against two players and im 50%+ that i have an edge against everyone except 3 players (but not far more than 50%) and im 90% sure to have an edge against everyone except 5 players)

my results have been insane good at 6max and super bad at hu, so i invite everyone to play me

honestly, though...does he think pat will laydown 63, 86, or even 54? what exact value hands will he get patrik to fold here? pats range is obviously the entire deck given hes in the BB and doug limped the SB, but i just dont see what hands doug can credibly rep that would take this line for value against a perceived strong value hand from patrik.
Hes gotta bluff sometimes there and what better hand to do it with than the 2 best set (full house) blocking cards? 74 is the best bluffing hand there.

didnt you say you were quitting raul? opportunity cost too big?
10-23-2014 , 12:06 PM
opportunity costs (in terms of utility/happiness) are prolly close to ev or perhaps negative lol

Probably because can fold out better pairs and make draws call (lol_omaha_bet).

That or just a quadruple range merge

please rate isildurs 2-7 game ownage4u. I wish I could say im 100% but you can never be 100% but 99,9% sure your action would not be affected of what you say in NVG re isi
