I don't think it's even that... it's like a QB being taken out of a game when it's clear he's not doing well. Some might say it's cowardly, that he should grind it out and compete, but it might be the best thing to do.

I'm guessing he means that the turn completes the obvious KQ draw (and it's 3way). If turn bricks he always bets, and since he and trex both flopped sets they get it in then and there with trex drawing to one out.
