I don't play HU and don't get lots of stuff, but... Can someone explain the no-minraising thing too me?

1) Why do players ask for no minraising? is its a tactic they can't handle well? Why don't they try to learn that style themselves if it works so well vs. todays uberaggressive 3x'ers?
2) Why do some players belittle the minraisers and get angry when they don't want to stop... If that style if making their life difficult, why not respect the style?
3) Am I correct in thinking that the 2p2 hivemind thinks the min-raisers are idiot nits and the people disallowing it are cool and rooted for? If so, Why? Not wanting to play a particular style seems like weakness and doesn't fit the lunatic degen-play-anything-anywhere mentally that is usually (and rightfully) worshipped...

Also, Anyone wants to plays some chess? No horizontally moving rooks please! (But yeah, the above are cereus questions... a serious reply would be greatly appreciated)

People don't like to play limpers in PLO because the game is pot-limit. the 3b of a minraise is relatively small and it makes playing big pots on the flop or turn much more unlikely. the game becomes more focused on turn and river value bets and bluffs, but generally plays much more ABC.

it makes heads up plo a pretty boring nit-fest when it is normally an action game.
