theres no way the irs finds out about durrs winnings, or?

it's not like they would take some post in this 2plus2 thread and demand taxes on the winnings declared here?

pretty sure neither ivey or durr will be paying any taxes on the winnigs there.

if so, then they are stupid for not being carefull enough

Juanda, Durrr, Ivey .... In an earlier picture there was a laptop at the table. Clearly just xferring from FTP accounts as needed. Now the real question is do they confirm they are sending to the right account by asking "Panda avatar, city M?"

This thing just popped in my head..

Maybe durrr is down becouse yesterday he was playing with his own money and lost, but today he was staked and his % of todays winnings is less than he lost yesterday.

Quote from Stella:

Our rake system is:
Anything above 1k-2k no limit = 300 HKD Max. Including free food off our poker king club menu.
2-5 handed = 1/2 which is 150HKD Max.

Anything including 1k-2k and under is =200 HKD Max. (no free food)
2-5 handed = 1/2 wihch is 100 HKD Max.

So Anything above 1k-2k hkd no limit 300 hkd / 7.8 = 38.46 usd free food off the poker king club menu
2-5 handed = 1/2 which is 150 hkd / 7.8 = 19.23 usd

And Anything including 1k-2k hkd and under is 200 HKD / 7.8 = 25.64 usd (no free food)
2-5 handed = 1/2 wihch is 100 HKD / 7.8 = 12.85 usd

I dunno about anyone else but thats a sick ammount of rate to be charged...

Also does the poker king food menu have drugs on it and call girls bc for 770 usd an hr and 18482 usd every 24 hrs, I want max value for my money!!!

20 times 38.5 is 770 usd an hr

770 times 24 is 18482 usd every 24 hrs

I dunno who on earth would be so dumb to pay so much rake with out free hookers and blow!!! BC paying that much rake is ridiculous, This might be just me but are the locals that dense to pay that much rake? I remember when a casino had 5 dollar poker rake people would go across the street and take all the action with them to the 4 dollar poker rate casino...

I think a moderator really should clean this thread up(4posts above me+ a lot more dumb posts) So it doesnt get too out of hand, and dissipate into thin air.

and obv delete mine as well.

Looking forward to the more detailed hands of the HU match that stella mentioned earlier, such sickness. Also updates on Tom, and how he is doing in the game!

Tom's up, Tom's down...

what's really happening is that Tom probably was 7m+ USD winner, got upset when it got out because that's a heck of a lot of money, and because so many people are watching this thread it would have to show up on taxes.

However, if you get a couple of people to say that he's not up, and allude to the fact that he's lost money but no one apparently witnessed it, then he can do what all these guys do and just make the money go away and never show up. Seems pretty clear that that's what he's doing...I'm sure he doesnt want to arrive the the US and be owing 2m+ before jan 15..

Matt,

Can you provide a close-up picture of one of the placques (sp)?

Wouldn't it be an interesting TSA situation to bring all those home in your backpack!

As a U.S. citizen durrrr is required to pay taxes on earnings both domestically and abroad. Since the IRS is a resourceful and diligent organization there is a high probability that information in this thread could be used to justify an audit if they feel that he has misrepresented his earnings. To minimize his tax liability and to stay off the IRS radar, it is best for durrrr to be portrayed as a small loser in this thread.

If it's a fish, I doubt there'd be any limit that's reasonable. Obviously, he'd never be able to play Buffet at 25million/50million, but I'd assume he'd play regular old "rich businessman" types as high as they are willing to go. Ivey and Lederer and the other main Full Tilt guys would likely buy large pieces along with Doyle, and if the businessman wanted to play super high, Durrr would probably be able to get some of the semi-reg high stakes fishes like Alan Meltzer and Guy to buy some of his action.

It would be like when Andy Beal wanted to play 100k/200k limit holdem a few years back. A top-level pro will pull together the money no matter what as long as the edge is clear and big enough.

Sensitive? To want the post removed is a joke, let alone asking to have him banned. This isn't China. Also it was one of the very few entertaining posts since the gag order came into effect.
