regulate online gambling in PA has been filed in the Pennsylvania Senate.

It's easy to write off news like this as "just another bill" but SB 900 has the backing of incredibly powerful sponsors / co-sponsors in the Senate, including the state's leading voices on gaming.
The bill is also a broader package of casino reforms as opposed to a standalone online bill that might be easier for opponents to brush aside.
That, plus PA's budget needs, plus the strong push in the PA House all add up to a reasonable chance that PA passes online gambling regulation this year.
