Looks like reality television is making its way to the Women Poker scene. The new show called "Girl Got Game" will begin shooting in Macau of next year!

The idea of the show is to display how these young and successful poker players start a $10k bankroll and try to run it up, traveling the global Poker tournament circuit, and my favorite part "live a poker lifestyle that we aspire to experience as a pro".

Congrats to the young ladies that are set to star in the reality show: Kitty Kuo, Xuan Liu, Oanh Bui, Sofia Lovgren, and Danielle Andersen.

Should be an interesting watch!!!

Really, $10k? What are they playing, $100+$15 buyins?

Who travels all around the world for that?

I mean, I know I travel to London from Nottingham to play an annual HORSE tournament for £50+£5 but that's only because that is the only game that is both HORSE and fixed limit there will be in the entire UK for that year.

Ironic isn't it.

Should be great for poker + more appealing to women to try being more women to the game should be a good watch.

As of a 10k roll they'll just sell 95% of their action just like every other live tourney pro.

Not familiar at all with Oanh Bui.

Did either the show with Liv and Maria and Vanessa living in vegas for the summer or the show with Amanda and Trischelle ever make it to air? I'm guessing not.

I suppose the idea would be that they don't exercise good BRM and they can therefore go "busto" by the end of the series.

TBH the trouble with this is it ignores the fact that one of the USPs of poker is it's a haven from vacuous mainstream culture.
