I had an account on the old site, so I go to make a new one and it says my address doesnt match records or something. Its the address on my tax return dip****s, what are you evwn doing with the ss#.

I am asked to email a pic of my drivers license which I do, showing that address. And I get an email back the address doesnt match so I need to send a utility bill. Why did they even ask for my license.

How about screw off with your bad software, low volume of players and lack of midstakes mtts and sngs. You dumbasses lost me.

Even without you, they're still easily making all the guarantees for the Coast to Coast series. The Sunday $320 had a prize pool over $150k for the second week in a row. As for the software, hopefully improvements will be made as time goes on - there was probably a rush to get the 3 state site going before the WSOP begins at the end of this month. When the DE 888 site first started in 2014 it had bugs on geolocation and a couple of other issues that were slowly worked out over the first year in business.

Already posted. DE uses 888 and not WSOP, and is blocked from playing WSOP specific events, like the Main Event and other WSOP live qualifiers and the summer online bracelet events.

I'd advise you not to play on it, then.

The Coast-to-Coast mtt series made every guarantee. Now somebody tell the WSOP brass that Nevada is landlocked. ;-)

I don’t

Were those guarantees bigger than series offered by sites like Carbon or ACR?

You are just begging for scraps from the government imo

i am in Nevada... wont touch acr wiht a 10 foot pole... They assist players in committing felonies! State of washington it is a felony to play online poker yet acr has no problem accepting players from there.... In Nevada, it is a felony to use a hud or any other electronic device to aid in gambling, so I won't use a hud, but my competition on acr can, not fair.

And wsop.com has more cash games than acr at least for plo8, plus we have plo8 SnGs i dont believe acr does, acr does have plo8 MTTs, but i suspect we will bet getting those soon.

Ill bet in less than 1 year wsop.com has more states merged. PA end of this year or early next year. So traffic will go up. You can't blame the site for the legal restrictions they have to work with.

Felonies!! ha ha I'm sure a baby sloth dies whenever someone plays from Washington. Sounds like ACR is helping out people regain the right they should have always had. They are the William Wallace of poker sites.

Anyhow, get the software working properly, get all the states in, and then you will get ScotchOnDaRocks to play.

Until then I won't cheerlead and help promote these d bags!

Interested to see how the daily/nightly MTT schedule plays out now that the coast to coast thing is over. Promotions seem seriously lacking compared to when it was just NV. I miss the much better SNG leader boards and the now nonexistent MTT leader boards. I guess they went with more of a rake-back model.

Surprised Blast can even be categorized as poker, stupid addicting game haha.

Was great to see the large prize pools for MTTs - 61k for first in a US regulated poker site is a step in the right direction.

One interesting thing that happened - my brother got second in one of the C2C tournaments for 5k and change. He got an e-mail from WSOP saying they were going to hold the funds for 24-48 hours and send through tax documents. Super weird that they don't release funds right away and they're sending tax documents per 5k+ win instead of the end of the year like most other regulated sites.

i am not saying i agree with washington state law... just that seems kinda fishy that they are aware of it and just don't care... To me that seems like they are painting a target on their back.

step in the right direction, just happening at a slow pace. I'm enjoying playing on a site where the money is safe and wont be stolen compared to many of the unregulated sites since online poker started.

Looking forward to the summer, should only get better from here. Need some other sites with better software to enter/create competition. Is there any sort of timeline on when stars will go live in nv?

We went 50 miles in the wrong direction several years ago and now back ten feet in the right direction.

By the time it gets fired up to where there is good traffic I'll be blind and have to have the site read my hands for me.

It can only get better, I agree with that part though lol

don't be on the wrong side of history

If you were in the movie Braveheart you would be on of the nobles that betrayed William Wallace

Sorry - I meant other regulated "gambling" sites like DraftKings and FanDuel. They only send out W2-Gs at the end of the year.

on the other hand, Ive been surprised before on all sorts of things. For example Hellmuth pawning Polk and jungle HU was surprising and more importantly quite hilarious to watch

either way... this is huge for US. Im guessing more states accelerate some form of online legislation. North Carolina will be last state to ever legalize though maybe right before Utah so fml.
PokerStars has been working on improving their position from every possible angle. One is that they are the publishers of Poker News, which means that readers are no doubt getting a very biased view of the poker world. I read it, but I also read Poker News Daily--kind of like watching CNN and Fox News to see all sides of an issue.

In the Michigan legislative hearings on state-regulated poker (we are pretty close) the Stars Group gave a presentation on the capabilities of their security software. The word PokerStars wasn't mentioned but I think I can guess who the Stars Group is affiliated with.

I think this is a terrible step in the wrong direction for the U.S. market. This seems to open to door for international share liquidity, which on the surface seems like a great thing. However, online sites have proven to be mostly inadequate and complacent when it comes to various forms of cheating. On top of that, does anybody want the state of the ROW games to permeate the U.S. market? I know things are moving slow, but with PA coming on board and most likely partnering with NJ, DE and NV , we seem like we're finally headed in the right direction. I think that the only way to effectively police games is to have a regulated market where there are stiff criminal penalties for those who do cheat. You can't enforce that on somebody from Russia who is playing on a N.J. site. I hope that i'm just misunderstanding how this would work.
I guess that depends on how you define "enforcement."

After the Chinese collusion scandal on PokerStars, they wrote a new rule--no more than one Chinese player per table. There was no criminal penalty, but it fixed the problem.
