I just happen to come across 2+2 and knew this was the place for my question. I hope this is the right forum and I get get some sound advice.

I have been playing online on and off about a year. I play division 1 basketball so I dont have a whole lot of time to focus on poker, but I always enjoyed it and found some moderate success. I ran my account up over 4K a couple times, but usually would play drunk or let my teammates play on my account and both would eventually lead to me going bust. I dont want to get a job this summer so poker seems like an obvious solution. Im wondering If someone could give me advice on how to grind properly and maintain a somewhat steady income through poker?

I think Heads Up NLHE is my best game, and I would really appreciate if a well known player would play me at .25/.50 and evaluate my game for me. I realize there isnt much incintive for you do this and I doubt offering $25 would really intice you. Nevertheless, and help would be appreciated.

This is def. not the right part of the forum to pose this question. I would do some searches on bankroll management to learn how to properly build a roll.

There really is no shortcut to building it IMO..........

You let people play your account and that left you busto a few times ? You might need more than just bankroll management...

People who say they don't care what people think are usually desperate to have people think they don't care what people think.

If you're looking for advice about your game, I'd probably take a look over at the Heads-Up NL forum, post some hand histories and take it from there.
