this pic was posted in the aria 500k sweat thread and i felt it needed its own thread so that some light might be shed on the current situation by those "in the know". many quetions arise out of seeing a pic like this. a few that i have are:

- why is durrrr playing in a sketchy underground basement cash game in china/macau?

- does he not fear getting cheated/hustled by people working together to fleece him?

- why is he still playing in a foreign country at a time like this when theres huge action in vegas?

- is he being staked in order to repay a debt? and if so, how far in debt is he?

- what stakes are being played in this game? and why does it appear to be rather "low class" in regards to the setup? unmatched chairs, no TVs on the walls, a cheap looking table, no furnishings, cement walls, etc...

can somebody who actually knows what they are talking about give some insight into what is going on in the life of durrr? the poker world wants to know if he is OK, and if he will ever return to the public spotlight! FREE DURRRR!!

No matter what he is really up to these days, it's pretty obvious he doesn't care about the WSOP too much. If you check the player list from the 500k at Aria, you could get the feel that this is a sentiment he shares with a big part of the (super)highroller community.
