I am willing to do anything that has a reasonable chance of recovering (some of) our money. Can't we get Norwegian law enforecement involved for starters? There must be a Norwegian player that can file a report with the police.

I'd love to see something happen as well. I'm not sure whether he's still a norweigan citizen, and all that about jurisdiction and stuff. Even if the end result means our money isnt recovered I certainly wouldnt mind seeing this guy get into trouble, criminal charges, tax issues and whatnot.

Don't want to ruin the party but I don't think it's wise to post a private detective's name in public. You're informing the bad guys too. Besides, I'm not sure your contact appreciates any type of disclosure of the given information on the internet anyway.

So you told all your friends, "GO PUT YOUR MONEY ON THIS SITE" because the risk/reward was there for you? Because even though you didn't know a whole lot about the site, you "didn't think they were likely to go under"?

I understand where you're coming from, and you got unlucky, but by promoting a product you didn't know much about, you have cost your friends and many people you don't know a lot of money.

I also think all FTP endorsers screwed up as well. They took the fame and money to endorse something they apparently didn't know enough about.

To be clear, I don't wish bad things on you or other endorsers. I am not gleeful that things didn't work out. But it is bizarre to say that you guys shouldn't bear responsibility for screwing over many people; people should stick to promising the quality of a product where they are actually in a position to promise it's quality. I feel the need to make this point because people think all the FTP endorsers got unlucky... and this is baffling to me, because these are the same people that may have lost money on FTP directly because of these FTP endorsers' actions. Phil Ivey is just as accountable as the rest. At least with him he is trying to take steps to amend his mistake.

As I recall, last word from the LGA was that they had turned the case over to the police. Nothing has been heard since then.

Someone should contact the LGA to find the status on the police investigation.
