I'm sure if Lefort had any sort of compassion/feeling of ACTUALLY doing the right thing, he could have at least extended half of nba-guru's money back (under no obligation) and nba-guru would have snap accepted.

The only way to be 100% sure is if he posts a picture of himself holding his ID.

So the next time this scenario comes up and lefort loses what happens? Does he get compensated by anybody or just tough luck you are a good poker player you will make it back. The way you want this to play out is a complete freeroll for nba-guru. This means from now on whenever somebody gets scammed they get to cheer the person on and hope they win money from someone else so they can get their money back.

Sure lefort could be nice and give some of the money back to the scammer but i don't think it should be all of it or even half maybe 500-1000 just to be nice and show some compassion.

Only trade with people you have met and trust in real life. Talk to said person before transaction to make sure it is actually them.

Don't use paypal or any other service that can easily be reversed.

Use a dedicated computer and possibly IP for poker.

Use a VPN when playing from public locations.

Don't download anything, click on any links, etc.

RSA token.

Only use your poker account email for poker.

Don' use an easy password. Use something with capital letters, numbers, etc.

Don't trade with anyone.

Honestly the poker world is filled with scumbags and people need to stop being so trusting. Just because a guy has 1million + in winning doesn't mean he is reliable. If it's one of your close friends that you know IRL and trust go for it but trusting some guy you've talked to on skype a few times and maybe met at en EPT is just asking for trouble.

Lets not give any up and coming internet scammers any ammo please, if you're going to answer this do it in PMs or something imo.

Maybe he can paint up some counterfeit bills and pay them that way

I wouldn't be surprised if the OP is just a troll. It seems very unlikely that he would come out and admit to all of this. And if his address is public knowledge wouldn't he be worried about his own safety? I'm just a bit skeptical to buy this story that he found God and has changed into a better person.

Yes people that I've admited all this to, they know people can change.

My cousin just got out of Prison in Nov he's my age and was heavily in a mexican gang, he was a believer but he wanted to walk the walk. He quit his gang 3 years into his 6 year term and they put a hit out in him. They have what is called a striker and a bomber.

A striker comes at you with his fist, the bomber Comes with a knife...

Sometimes they use your own celly to do the hit. He was on the courtyard one day and the striker was running towards him, but he knew there was a guy with a knife coming from somewhere so he turned around in an instant and put the bomber in a chokehold. He has a good sized scar on his back inches from his neck.

He is a major inspiration to me. He got out right after I just had gotten robbed last year. He was the first person I admitted these thefts to and he helped me to break every chain.
