I hope you like this story as much as I like telling it. It really happened!

I was playing in the Stud tourney at the WSOP and at my table was Gavin Smith. He was jawing as usual and issued a challenge to anyone at the table to play Head Up Stud for any amount. A Vietnamese player (I think it was Toto) started talking about playing him. They went back and forth for a while and finally Gavin pulls a monster wad out of his pocket and sets it on the table. He says he'll put all this money in play right now as a guarantee if they can make a game.

The dealer is dealing at that moment and at the end of the deal Gavin looks down and he only has one hole card. He looks all around and tells the dealer he missed him. Sure enough Gavin has only one hole card. The dealer declares a misdeal and collects the cards. He shuffles up and continues the game. After about another 15-20 minutes Gavin goes bust, and as he gets up to leave he starts to put the large wad back in his pocket. He notices or feels something funny and takes a good look at his giant wad and pulls a Nine out of the stack. A card (his missing hole card) had lodged perfectly in the stack of money and Gavin (and the dealer) never noticed.

We had been playing with a deck with only 3 nines in it for some time. They called a floor man over and he said there was nothing he could do. The dealer should have counted down the deck and he never did. Gavin thought it was all very funny. Like I said it really happened!

I think the most amazing thing I've ever seen playing poker happened at a 5/10 O8 game. Game is full of old miserable people who hate life (this is every O8 game right?), and we went through 4 setups in a hour. That's 8 decks. During this hour, every Ace, duece, and three had a finger nail mark right in the middle of the card.

Absolutely incredible. Even more amazing, the house let the game continue to run.

sick story

played at a friends home game and after getting sucked out 4 times in a row the host of the game elbows the **** out of the garage door. The end result: instead of losing $80 he lost $2380.

apparently one time my friend's friend was playing a 1/2 game in vegas and this guy who was really drunk whipped out his dick during the game and pissed on the leg of the guy next to him during a hand :/

i was playing 2/3 and there was this Scottish guy there and he was pretty drunk i think.. so one guy to the left of me decided it would be a good idea to try tilt him.. so he decides to start talking about football( soccer to the rest of you) and the second he did.. this guy WENT OFF... like a bomb... he first abused the dealer and the dealer had to stop the game...floor was called over... then he called the guy who talked about the soccer an f ing English prick and then the game was stopped again because the tray under the desk was locked...

the English guy was so sorry.. he apologized like 1000 times... we only played like 1 hand that hour... was SO bad..

Where are the strip poker stories?

in one of my local home games a friend of mine got a royal flush, a straight flush, and quads in about 15 minutes.

Brag: Played strip poker in 8th grade
Beat: All of the girls backed out

My friend decided he didn't care the girls weren't playing and kept taking it off after losses. This was in a hotel lobby during a class trip, so it was quite interesting when our teacher walked in and discovered this.

I was playing in a local charity game here in michigan, and soon after it started, there was one particular table that was considerably louder that all of the other tables combined. Lots of loud chatter etc. Within the first 15 minutes, about half of the table had busted out. Then there was a big hand where 3 people were all in, and when they turned their cards over.. they found out that they had been playing with a pinochle deck.
