One of the very few things 2+2ers can agree on is the need to attract more fish to PS. Then, most of us at the lower levels can agree that there is a serious nit-infestation. How about : (1) paying antes in all cash games with Blinds. Nits would freak, fish wouldn't care or be glad ; (2) PS introduces a player-ranking system (how many athletic/sporting competitions are without one?) such as HS for SNEs and SNs, MS for Platinums and Golds, and SS for Silvers and Bronzes. Players could only play at their stakes-level or higher. No more SNs at NL50 tables (good riddance as now those tables play faster which is appreciated by the fish, and Silvers have a better chance of climbing the Poker ladder). The lower levels are being destroyed by too much rake and too many nits. The poker economy is doomed without drastic actions.

what if your a small stakes goldstar who can't beat midstakes but does just fine were he is? Should he be banned from his stakes untill he drops down to silverstar?

Nits aren't the problem. It's the idiots who don't know how to make a decent size bet.
