Jason, by his own admission, is just an investor. He doesn't outright own it.

We don't know how much he owns, but I bet it's a small percentage, unless he inherited it or something.

You can own less than 1% and still legally call yourself an "owner".

He said something about working 110 hours per week, but I bet if you called there at a different random time all seven days this upcoming week, and asked for him, he wouldn't be there.

I have no information to back this up, but it's just a vibe I'm getting.

There are busts that happen every so often. And almost every time, some deadbeat operating a book will hear about it and will then try and use that as an excuse as to why they are late on paying or try and stiff a player that is up. Any old idiot can get a site set up and become a bookie in a matter of days. Dozens of fly by night operations that are nothing but guys looking for a freeroll. It is really difficult to tie one particular guy to any specific outfit.

You are right that it is very doubtful any names, numbers, or site urls are going to be thrown out in the open.

You can be one-sided even being neutral to the parties. For instance and this is just my observation but I believe it is pretty damming on your credibility to appear impartial that your position re. this whole matter did not change one bit with the release of those messages by JY.

Someone who does have a relative degree of intellect and logic that I have seen in some of your posts would have looked at the chronology of the events supplied in MM's posts (particularly his OP) and compared it to the real indisputable facts (which are the texts) and come to the conclusion that something just doesn't add up in MM's rebuff of JY.

I said a long time ago in this thread that I wouldn't be a suitable arbitrator at this point, so you might as well stop saying that.

I offered at the very beginning before I had developed that strong of an opinion as to what was going on. At this point, obviously I do have a strong opinion, so I would be a poor choice as arbitrator.

Not sure why the recent hate on KiloWatt - he has enough "cred" in the poker world imo to make some reasonable analysis.

I think that Assani SHOULD BE PAID ASAP, either by MM or Jason.

Chris owes Assani from saving him 15k that he was going to send Jason and imo it would be a nice gesture on his part to reward Assani.

There is a slight holdup with the transfer, might need one of the other trusted volunteers to collect the money for me. Jason made a good legit effort though, and it's understandable that this will take til tomorrow since its Friday night and we r all busy.

Also since I've hurt his cause a bit, I will definitely note that this interaction was 100% pleasant and he has done a very good job of setting up a payment plan. I think its likely that I will be paid in a timely manner by him.
