Let's say he is convicted. What would be considered fair punishment?

I would love to hear a regs thoughts on the whole scene if you dont mind

thank you
what do you mean by fast and loose they operate there?

I have been "obsessed" with all this as my girlfriend puts it, but look how quickly this thread went from 60-40 cheating to 99-1 (trolls/mike). Just imagine if he just played a lower vpip and instead of running gigantic float bluffs just used the superusing to hero call/fold a few spots but also picked some to just guess in small pots so they are wrong. I mean he literally played the perfect style if you could see someone elses cards to produce the highest hourly. How can anyone in poker for any amount of time think this his play is normal "pro crusher" style.

GOD mode he plays and acts totally different. Look at his hand at the 46min 24sec. Seems to do some crazy things with his phone but nothing else makes me think he’s getting any info that he’s acting on.

3 months in jail? For stealing 6 figures for well over a year and 30+ sessions, including a terminally sick man who literally playing his last session of poker. That would be an open invitation for all cheaters to keep cheating, that is hardly a punishment. He should face a minimum of 3 years. 3 months in county jail is a holiday.

Instead the dude wants to play every hand preflop and win every hand he can even if it means calling 2 streets with gutter (67 os) vs 2 people then donk jam when they both miss their fd and have no pair.
Yes, these are red flags in 2019. They would have been red flags in 2009. I'm guessing they would be red flags in 1979 too. Like most thieves, Postle was just looking for an easy way to make quick money. You guys are trying analyze it like he's not cheating in an optimal way but that's clearly not his mindset. If he wanted to work his ass off and do things optimally he probably wouldn't be cheating in the first place.

6-Months in jail, 3-5 Years Probation, Repayment, and BANNED!

Cases like this dont come often and they want to make an example to deter others.

He adds on $500 during that time period to go from 1.3k to 1.8k

There's always the possibility that he had one or more sessions in which he experienced some sort of technical issue(s) in receiving the "data". Could explain his weird hat/phone behavior in a session where he isn't able to play in "God mode" but not for lack of preparing/trying too.

Agreed completely obviously. Imagine if he wasn't trying to maxmize his hourly and rather just doubled a winning players hourly by picking and choosing spots. Maybe win 60-65 percent of sessions and have some big loses mixed in there. He could have gotten away with this forever. Hell he could have even went on other streams and when he didn't win well its poker everyone has losing sessions. No they made this dude out like a GOD. Blows my mind how after first session he didn't watch the footage and think to himself okay that was too much gotta slow it down.

Anyone familiar with California crime have any idea of the actual crime? and appropriate punishment if allegations are true? Wonder what the crime for the colluder would be as well.
"Cheating in card game"?

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Does this link work for anyone? Edit: Link does not work
https://www.facebook.com/StonesGambl...2290814797517/

It used to be a lengthy facebook post from (I believe) 2018, written by JFK, where he went through an event the casino had held together with pokerstars, and with livestreams and stuff. It contained all the names of the tech staff. This is where I first found Taylor Smith's name, btw, and started cross-referencing the employees with Postle's friend list (which he has made private since then).

Unless that page is bugging out just for me, someone with access to the facebook page (probably JFK) has read this thread, found the one time that I previously posted that link, and deleted that post.

Link broken - usually happens when content has been deleted (as you suggested)

And it certainly is interesting as so much of it is on video but here are just a couple of thoughts that are not directly related to this but are from a more meta level perspective....

1. In general... the truth is that there are a hell of a lot of scumbags in live poker. This sort of thing literally goes on all the time. Many would consider it "part of the hustle", or just a different form of having an edge. So many of you seem to think you've caught this single guy and feel like he must be held to account and karma / righteousness must reign down upon him+whomever else is involved. This is being naive and not really living in reality. The sad truth is that many posting here would do the same if they had the chance. How many of us at some point or another wished we somehow had psychic abilities to read others thoughts at the table ?

Sure, most of us all hold fairness as a virtue to some degree ... but the moral signalling of some people is just funny. Like "OMG, he was cheating a cancer patient..." . Truth is if you've played for a living you have won a bunch of money of people (or .. "that massive fish lol" ) who have had serious problems in their lives.

2. In the grand scheme of things, Poker/Gambling scams/dishonesty are a drop in the Ocean compared to the massive fraud and theft that is taking place constantly by the parasitic elite powers that be on the peasants. It's just you don't see this and believe it's all a part of 'civil society' Regular people that produce value and do honest work to provide for themselves/their families are kept on the mouse wheel needing to run faster and faster whilst the team which involves government/banksters/mega corps keep us in a form of comfortable slavery and selling out your childrens & societies future to enrich themselves.

I know that some may find it a little dark and somewhat out of the boundaries of this current entertaining drama but I try to give people some perspective.
THIS!

1. Confirmed. Playing live for almost 20 years and Mike Postle is definitely not alone in scamming people at the table, but he had taken it as far as you possible can imagine. There is not much I haven`t seen, however the most common one is where two or more players work together. Therefor playing live there is not a good idea sitting on your phone when not playing hands. You pick up a lot paying attention.

2. True. What happened after the financial crises in 08|09. Absolutely nothing since the participated parties are both the criminal and the judge. Mike Postle is the kind a guy you can make an example of since he most likely has no means to defend (buy himself out of the situation) with. The biggest scam which is running today is called tax. And how many people are exposed to that? Guessing most is answering everyone but that is not the truth since ~1 percent of the population do not pay anything. They just collect what the idiots contribute with out of their free will. The hustle is creation of money. It is brilliant. It is backed by nothing and when you read on the bills it says how owns it as well, so basically you are borrowing the money you have to "your name".

@Loctus. It's "not available at this moment" for me too.
The other stuff on the Stones Gambling Hall page is still there though.

P.S. I presume you saw the video where they list all the staff? (Just in case you're still in need of names).

It seems the commentating teams changed quite often, but if there was a particular commentator on many broadcasts perhaps he/she probably should have realized something was up. That being said, the commentator is busy commentating, not analyzing. It's the reason HBO boxing hired Harold Lederman to be the unofficial ringside scorekeeper because the actual boxing commentators can't possibly score a fight properly because they are busy commentating.
Commentating? You call that commentating? Its unadulterated IDIOCY.

Review California Gaming Commission regulations. In general, an accomplice to a crime also gets charged with the same crime: the get away driver is also charged with robbery, as an example.

Crucifixion for starters. Really, if there's no previous offense and if can make full restitution, 30 months in a cage. That's probably too much. At least 12 months in a cage imo.
