What a complete **** this guy is.
01-14-2015 , 08:15 AM
I saw a quick scene on the replay of him "crying" on his knees after being eliminated. Anyone has a clip of that?

If you check out the leader board top chip guy has around 7 mill going into Day 6 Did Hawkins think he even had a chance to come that close ? When you make final table you get mucho respect He got up to a mil or so which was impressive but lets face it he has some time to go before he considered one of the greats

Worst coverage ever . Compare to ESPN like night and day Even the announcers admit the action at table is painfully slow Never see the players hands unless all in . Video quality is excellent but if you have no life and a hell of a lot of time on your hands you might like sitting through this boredom. No sign of Hawkins crying . Walked off with backpack headed to cash window looking extremely depressed

Assuming that he is a U.S. citizen, it will depend on what his marginal tax rate will be this year.

He recently jumped 112 spots in the GPI World Poker Rankings from #244 to #132.

How do you think Maurice Hawkins would handle a couple of bozos at the table like Phil Helmuth and Mike Matasow ? Do you think they would get away with their dumb wisecracks with him?

Maurice Hawkins and Phil Helmuth were at the same table at the WPT championships in April.

Here is one conflict:

He is in the choctaw main today. I'm one table over. He's had two penalties from two different guys basically asking him to step outside to fight. How we do in the south.

Maurice Hawkins tried to coerce and intimidate a 21 year old player in a chop situation during wsop 2 years ago in a Rio daily over a modest sum of money. The Rio floor staff in their infinite wisdom put the money on the table and refused to be involved with oversight during the chop.

Hawkins was more than just subtly threatening my friend who at the time was scared he would be followed to the parking lot. His demeanor surpassed simple bullying and was coercive in nature.

Said kid would also later go on to ship a bracelet which made him feel much better... But the next few days following this chop situation all my friend could think about was how some jerk tried to scare him into coughing up several thousand dollars.

Hawkins, you are a coercive, angle shooting, bullying scumbag and you should be outed as such. No amount of success in poker will off set the fact that you are universally despised by your peers because you have no shame and no interest in controlling your pathetic ego. That is why you have a 50 page thread where 90% of the people posting in it can't stand you. Congratulations on this tremendously difficult accomplishment.

Rio and Caesars absolutely suck at most everything, let alone deal making; they won't facilitate anything. They won't even take Form 5754 which they are obligated by law to take but they still won't take it. They leave players in a bad spot.

Oh ... and Hawkins seems like a jerk. He's seemed like a jerk in basically everything I've ever read that had his name in it. Given what I've heard, he may be laughing due to the word "jerk".

I recall one occasion a few years ago where he was being his typical obnoxious self, and the floor, after enduring this behavior over numerous events was ready to take action. Hawkins had launched all of his chips on a bluff in the early going of a freezeout. A young woman on the button, who had been one of his targets, hemmed and hawwed for about 30 seconds before calling. He turned over his bluff, and she then showed the 2nd nut flush and took his chips. He was still mouthing off as he rose from the table. A rent-a-cop came over and tried to lead him away by the elbow, but Hawkins ripped his arm away. That prompted the cop to pull his taser. They moved out of sight behind a partition for a moment. Another cop arrived, and soon after they emerged with Hawkins in handcuffs on his way to jail for disorderly conduct. He got a one year ban from the facility. And it was a $100 tourney.
Are you telling me this behavior is allowed at table tournaments? His actions went as far as being tased and eventually arrested? I would never ever play at a table with this guy Sounds like someone with some serious anger management issues a sore loser and someone that possibly throws child like temper tantrums like tearing up a hotel room when he loses

IMO, he is one of the most narcissistic and insecure players around.

I outplayed him in a pot- didn't show but he probably also had air but he didn't play back. He suspects he got outplayed, goes on tilts, and starts spewing his chips after the hand. I never said a word to the guy. Couple rounds later, I pick up a legit hand to 3-bet his preflop raise with. No idea his stack size cuz he was in every hand so I glance over at his concealed chips to get idea of his stack size. I ask dealer, who had better view than me, how many stacks of 20s does he have. Maurice explodes. Claims I'm rubbing it in cause he lost chips. Causes such a disturbance that a floor comes over to address the outburst. I'm sitting there and wondering what the hell is with this guy...it was childish & ridiculous.

Whatever skills he may have (& I've seen none), they are offset by a guy who thinks the world revolves around him...
Wow just Wow. I could just imagine when this guy was a kid and some friends were invited over to play board games like easy money monopoly or even rummy. If he lost he more than likely accused his friends of cheating threw the game board up in the air and threw his friends out of his house at the same time What a class act Someone you would like to be friends with

"It's not Mo's fault he raped that woman, it's society's fault for condoning his rapey behavior and she should have known better than to walk near a raging pile of manhood such as him."

People have discounted my story when I say they left the money in a box on the table.
