yeah Id call that a hit and run personally

And given the player that left had a 15k stack against a 1k stack I would reference the earlier player as a
big stack"

FakeMonies: rebuy please
Mark Vos: no
FakeMonies: I won't play you with 10bb

Mark Vos: thats ok
Mark Vos: uve got edge anyway
Mark Vos: i wasnt really that excited to play u
Hmmm, sounds like FakeMonies gave him the option of re-buying and playing or not playing at all, so he did in fact gave him the option of winning back his to which Mark declined.

Let's say we play, you take 1/2 BI off me and ask me to reload in order to keep playing, I say "Naw, no thanks, you're a superstar, you'll just end up taking my monies, gtfo" So therefore you leave, did you H&R? OR Did I quit and decide not to play vs. you?

Ok so goes like this

* Vos alone at table with approx 6k
* Fakemonies sits with 10k
* 5 hands played stacks rougly 14.5k / 1.5k game is NL Holdem blinds 50/100
* Fakemonies sits out and refuses to play unless reload

If fakemonies had just joined the table fair enough but thats not the case

* Fakemonies took 5k from Vos and Vos did not go broke he still had remaining lets say 25% of what he had when Fakemonies sat down 5 hands earlier.

Lets say that you were nearly busto you put your last 6k on the table for some stupid reason I sit down and precede to take 75% of it very quickly and you refuse/ cant reload. Am I right in leaving with 75% of your stack after 5 hands and not giving you a chance to win it back ?

Mark didnt say gtfo he was sitting there waiting to play the next hand and probably lose the rest of his stack who knows but Fakemonies left

Short or not he didnt bust the original ammount he had on the table, to me this is unetchical but hey its Mark Vos and made a career out of hit n running people

I dont see nor ever have seen a rule stating that a poker player must reload when he gets under 10bb if he has just lost a big or a couple of big pots nor is it unethical if you werent shortstcking to begin with and it happened as a result of hands played gtfo

I like Mark Vos - he has a sense of humor, doesn't act like he is a god because he can play cards, and admits himself that he is not great. He has also found a way to achieve much better results than a large amount of players that are better than he is at the game. More power to him.

I thought about shortstacking PLO and NL games also because of Vos. I mean, if he can do it and wins mirrions, why should I be a hater playing 25NL PLO trying to justify playing full stack when I can just play a simpler game and make just as much playing shortie?

There has always been alot of hate for Vos, but I think there is also alot of people who are jelous of the money he makes.
id personally rather put pins in my eyes than become a shortstacker.
Playing cash can be boring but if your a short stacker playing fit or fold....*** me how boring.

He sounded like he had one to many sherberts on the conversation with Stinger.

However much money he makes he is a ginger at the end of the day so i feel for him. Money can buy you alot of things but once a ginger always a ginger. No amount of hair dye can take that away from him dont matter how much his got.

I'm sure there's plenty of people who like the guy, so people who hate on him are just wasting their time.

sad when the best you can do is critisize someones hair color. whats next, mom/dad/family/ghey jokes?

all the railtards have pretty much ruined the chat with the pros part of FTP because they feel invincible behind their keyboards. mark is one of the few left that still chat once in a while. the best time was when he was at a 1c/2c table with 1 million dollars. when have you seen a pro at micro stakes playing with the less fortunate people, or a pro chat with anyone period, pretty sure gus even got sick of the idiots. alan boston is another good example of railtards taking shots at people for no reason so they get the other railtards to laugh with them. (beavis and butthead laugh) i talk chit on the rail (beavis and butthead laugh).

Hey, I do like you - I wasn't referring to you I haven't played you in ages AFAIK.

I was rambling drunkenly of course but what set it off was..... I kept saying hi to Brian and communicating in a normal way and he never answered. Then one day he just said "why do you talk so much?" or something to that affect. It really wasn't a big deal but now that full tilt action is slow... I ramble, especially when drunk and this was just one of those.

FakeMonies did nothing wrong IMO, he saw me mid stacked and wanted to play with me 50bb deep, the conditions changed, he didn't wanna continue - I have no problem with that.

And... in regards to the red head thing it's not as bad as it may seem, my friends have deemed me a half breed as I don't appear to melt in the sun. - a day walker like Blade perhaps.

Vos, you're a good dude. You shouldn't even worry about what anyone thinks of you. Just keep outplaying them after the flop, and the money will make up for their respect IMO.
