Okay, now HSDB has Isildur1 down $160K in the last 24 hours. Safe to assume he has now donked off the $150K winnings from the DN dismemberment?
    03-21-2011 , 09:39 PM
    ^ a misclick

also lol, isil is playing pep again...i though he has nearly busted his acc as he left.

    isils gonna isil
    03-21-2011 , 09:40 PM
    Epic degeneracy
    03-21-2011 , 09:44 PM
    ...and gone again...good night
    03-21-2011 , 09:45 PM
pep winning around 200k in an hour, Isil busted it seems
    03-21-2011 , 09:51 PM
Now you cant blame Isil for tilting this last match because he didnt, pep just couldnt lose a hand
    03-21-2011 , 09:52 PM
I am starting to believe that Isi is an idiot.

Stick to HUNL, build your bankroll to 10mil, and don't go near a PLO table until you do (Anyone else see a Stu Unger analogy and his inability to stay away from the other games in the casino where he did not have an edge. Oh well, at least Stu did not die young and broke).

I'm not sure why he's always going busto, then. Perhaps it'd be fair to say that Isildur1 has great raw talent, but he's somewhat of an unpolished degen imho.

Which means, of course, that I love watching him play. Guys like this are the only ones capable of ridiculous, epic run-ups. When Isildur1 took the last $7,000 he had and ran it up to a million or so, that was beyond epic.

    Good BRM > Talent.

you are all f-g lol, plo is just variance, good night

I think what ben means is that his A game is one of the very best right now. I'm not really qualified to judge their matches, but reading the hh's it seemed pretty obvious isildur was tilting when he lost back his initial winnings, and his last match with pep it def def def seemed like he was tilting (plus pep couldn't lose a hand). Obviously variance too, playing high variance PLO with 20 buyins, recipe for going broke

Oh well, hopefully he'll have another run if he wins against DN next week

Oh and I'm pretty sure that Q9 wasn't a misclick, he timed down a bit and its not like we haven't seen sick Q high calls by jungleman before

Perhaps it has something to with playing an incredibly high-variance style with only 10 or 20 buyins for the stake he's playing? It's not like he's completely broke when he busts his account though.

Considering his play style, multi tabling etc these swings vs another LAG is no miracle although it seems pretty brutal hehe. I think Isildur is destined for these constant big ups and big downs.

...Pretty sure he simply loves the game(as stated by him in an interview), the challenge and the adrenaline rather then the money and will never be able to just "grind it out". The only times that he has been grinding, he did so at 25/50 ring games and was buying in 250BB if he could and was a total maniac. I mean he started his career with non existent BRM and was playing hu4rollz constantly and I donīt think he can ever turn back or as Rambo would have said it "You just donīt turn it off".

Kagome playing harrington HU 500-1k TD sits out and tells harrington he wont continue until he knows who he is playing against. Harrington said he didnt know what he was talking about then Kagome left. lol..

Would copy paste but closed the table on accident.

    .....
This is part of the reason why his contract with PS is great because when he busts his account (inevitable lol), he can crush his next challenge or get his next paycheck and BAM be back in action the next day.

Someone needs to stfu up about running under/over par (lol). He sounds like all the other self-serving bias players around.

Well, in fairness, DN had to take a golf term and apply it to poker since there's no terminology in poker to describe your expected value. Oh wait...
