At least it's way more likely to happen now than in 2010 or 2011, now that PokerStars has been booted out of the market, the Wire Act has been "reinterpreted", and the Las Vegas casino industry has been given the green light to start up online branches and have secured the best partners from the all corners of the industry.

With all of these details now in the clear, it might now finally be time to turn the attention to Average Joe.

Coming from someone who was very close to the other Reid bill, I'd say almost zero. Even if the bill/rider/whatever passes, it's going to take a while to get the rules written, sites up and running, etc. A more appropriate question would be whether we would be playing by WSOP next year.

The government moves slowly man.

I do think it's important to point out though that to a certain extent we want them to move slowly. The last thing we want is for them to throw this thing together last minutes and make it to where the games aren't feasible/beatable/whatever.

Not to say they'd need 18 months to accomplish that, just saying.
