Tom Marchese. After dominating NAPTs he was primed to make a splash but did not seem to have any significant result.

Pokernews' coverage.
No final tables on internet.
No crazy stories of people collapsing from exhaustion or heat.
That the WSOP still does dump stuff like pick up registered player's chips.
That Bobby Belland hasn't posted much on Twitter in 4 days.
That this is the third year in a row where people grumbled about pokersite owners like Lederer and Ferguson getting arrested at WSOP with nothing happening. (not that I want to see them arrested)
No good Eskimo Clark stories.

I am surprised nobody has said all the major big name pros. What big name pro has done well this WSOP besides Men? And no I wouldn't qualify grinder as big name because of his lack of success lately and any semblence of staying power. Im talking about Ivey, Gus, Barry, Doyle, PA, Hellmuth, DN, Matusow etc. Just really disappointing not seeing any of them do well.

Nobody. Tournaments are not worth the time of the top level players that are playing big.

But, you guys and gals that don't know poker, don't understand that.

That's cool. Because most of you live in land of nowhere and live on the Internet or ESPN and think that winning a tournament is the end all be all.

My 15 minute drive to the Bellagio anytime, with no exposure is much more fun.

I don't know about the Amazon, but in the main pavillion it was so freezing cold, people were wearing winter coats. I had a hoody, but still caught a cold for like a week.
