Rick Salomon plays one tournament every 2 years and averages over $2 million profit every time he plays it. I don't think he could possibly bring himself to give a single f**k about nl10 online.

I dont blame him to not care, i dont care for that stake either, pretty pointless to play. I just think its funny how the american public views guys like him and blzerian though. People automatically will see heis up like 4mill in tourneys nd bilzerian is up n the 10s of millions. i am lightyears ahead of either of those guys, and they will be up more money than i ever will be.

My comment wasn’t as great as your pointless four year old bump comments or any other of your pointless comments you’ve made at 2+2. You got me. Ouch. This place would fall apart without your contributions.

However, they got the notoriety and the rep to essentially pick the lineups in the nosebleed games they play and get into very exclusive private games. I would not be surprised if Salomon was a top 10 cashgame winner in history, while being fundamentally worse than some east coast 5/10, 10/25 NL pros. Being able to play with really bad players at very high stakes might be more important than being GTO optimal as far as $$$ winnings are concerned!
JRB had a monster WSOP this summer. Won the 5k 6-max event for over $600k, 12th in the 50k for $88k, and min-cashed the 10k HORSE for a Top-100 overall point finish (87th).

I saw JRB at the Aria. Does he have a brother or a twin? There was a guy who looks very similar to him who plays low stakes at the Aria--but much heavier.

The object of Poker is to win money and play in the best games

They are both light years ahead of you

He has a brother who bears a family resemblance.

He won over $700k and I'm he might not even have had a 100% ROI. If he finishes 3rd in the 6-max he might not even be in profit - crazy!

Ofcourse they can. If you go to a live game and play 10-15% of hands like you would in microstakes online game you won't ever be invited back. Part of the live poker skill is playing alot of hands for that reason, not because they think it's optimal.

I'd be pretty confident that if you entered the one drop for one million 50 times you'd never come top 4 or better three times in a row.
