I've known Joe online for several years he's a stand up guy, he's a very good player. He's been around for along long time. He was playing 5-10 and 10-20 on party before it closed, and he also played a lot of 10-20 and 25-50 hu on ub.

Really good interview. He's going to be great for poker (one piece of constructive criticism - he should try to stop saying "You know" so much). Other than that, thumbs up.

omg what an illiterate dumb a that old man is.If i ever had to do an interview like that i would go into detail explaining that poker is not gambling and i would have to break out the sharkscope charts.Im so glad he won and not darvin bc it looks like he is somewhat stating the skill argument of the game

wonder why he didn't mention the backer part more in detail ... they basically make it seem like that 8.5 is all his.

Wow nice little interview. Didn't sound like many of the young online players with poor communication skills. At the final table he was chatting up all the players and this led me to believe he would be a good public relations winner, hope he keeps up his demeanor, def good for the game.

I was a little put off by Joe's reaction after sucking out against other players at the FT. I have to give him the benefit of the doubt, I can't imagine playing for that kind of dough and he does carry himself very well. He got lucky to win and I think he'll be the first to admit his fortunate cards during the FT. I think he'll be good for poker... a lot better than Jerry Yang that's for sure....

Whats that going to achieve other than appease jealous poker players? IMO its better to make joe public believe he won all 8.5mil rather than say he had a backer and split it in anyway.

Wow that was a really good interview. Not only by Joe but by the interviewers as well. They seemed to be a little informed which was nice for a change.

It was nice to hear him briefly talk about starting small and moving up. I think that's a huge misconception for people who don't know much about the poker world. They think that people risk ruin from the beginning of their poker careers.

It's good to see Joe taking the time to get on shows and in front of people to discuss poker.
