The money is just going back to the poker community anyways. Just think about it as giving back.

Guess he has one thing on anyone that posts here. He has won a WSOP Main Event Bracelet with the largest field of players.

There are also random idiots in hicksville who have won the lottery. It doesn't mean that I should pay for their investment advice.

Nice try, but Gold´s standard line was bet flop, check turn, bet river lol

Reality is a 2+2 knows he really isn't that great of a player. In today's format many would have seen his tell the truth strategy and he wouldnt lasted for at the final table.

Why wouldnt he agree to speaking engagements, book deals as the average joe thinks wow A WSOP main event champion.

I would argue Joe Cada was a bigger luck box than Jamie Gold. Also Jamie Gold has never claimed to be a great poker player

The problem is that when he charges for advice he is basically selling expertise that he really doesn't have. Basically you seem to be saying that it's okay for him to hustle the ignorant and essentially steal their money because they don't know any better. I apologize if I am misunderstanding you.

Being a luckbox at the FT doesn't constitute a tourney win as a fluke. While you can pick on a few questionable things he did at 09 FT, I would say the AJ call against Shullman was the only awful play he made. Everything else can be defended. Gold on the other hand made various fundamental errors throughout 06, which you won't get away with against live donks in the long run never mind experienced online pros.

He is offering winning advise from a Past WSOP Champion. Many are thrilled just to meet him. Heck doesnt every stock broker out there do the same thing. How is he hustling them?

I am curious how Jamie Gold played so horrible? All he did was be honest and say I want you to fold and guys would. He would say I want you to call and they did. Reality is we see a small % of the hands. Any player that gets to the final table in today's fields has done something right.

Sammy was scared, plain and simple. He's never just being nice, and it's hard to say Gold wouldn't call when he said call over and over again, even going so far as to say it could be binding.
