Other than your conspiracy theory that somehow -- against all logic -- I'm a shill for the pro leagues, what exactly do you have against Joe Brennan and iMEGA?
Let's add it up:
1. iMEGA challenges UIGEA in Federal court
2. iMEGA prevents Kentucky from seizing 141 gambling domains
3. iMEGA gets the Minnesota attorney-general to retract a gambling domain "black list" order to major ISPs
4. iMEGA backs a successful first amendment access challenge to sealed grand jury indictments against poker payment processors, defeating the SDNY in court.
5. iMEGA passes the i-gaming bill in New Jersey with support of 90% of the legislature (bi-partisan) and was a veto away from legal i-gaming in NJ.
6. iMEGA passes the referendum bill in New Jersey with support of more than 90% of legislators, putting the question of legalization of sports betting in the state before voters this November.
Where do you see the "shilling"?
I feel sorry for you if you lost your affiliate business, but I didn't take it away.
So who are you really mad at? If it's me, I still can't figure why.
Joe@iMEGA
I didn't intend to get in debate with you. I saw the video and accused you of being a shill based on your comments in the video. You asked "a shill for who" so I did a general search and saw you worked with the NFL. When I posted that you worked with the NFL you started with the Abusive ad hominem statements calling me an idiot and conspiracy theorist. I wanted to know who you work for and you continued with the attacks. You said
Quote:
"No money from the NFL, casino co's or any other opponent. 100% of time and money spent trying to advocate for the industry and the players. 0% of time spent being a conspiracy theorist."
So I took that to mean you represent players. Perhaps I should not have labeled you as a shill based on a few statements you made, but when your reacted the way you did it seemed more likely. I happy that you fought for internet rights. However, I do not want regulation from state or government. People are two plus two are posting ,commenting on news articles, and calling senators begging for them to control us. I don't fall in the majority thinking in that respect. I spent years promoting the top 3 brands and want my income back. I have no hate for you, I'm just curious about who funds your operations. Since you are a non profit, I thought it was fair to ask in previous posts. Good luck with your efforts as long as it is for "internet freedom" and not more regulations.
