We need another Australian to win the WSOP already so that Hachem can disappear into irrelevance.

I volunteer.

Or failing that, I nominate Stewart Scott

Why does everyone have a hard on for bashing Hachem>?

Oh wait...he fits the "profile" of an overatted donk...

Over 30....

Primarily Live player....

Takes himself a bit too seriously..

I dont think he is all that...but he definitely played 9X as well as Cada did during their respective runs. He also has fairly decent live results overall for tourney play and held his own in HSP.

Make fun of chainsaw or something.

He just seems like not a nice guy at all.
Very full of himself, arrogant, huge sense of entitlement.
And always complaining about 'how bad he runs' doesnt help either.

Ive met, and talked to the guy in a very informal setting.(Caramel ultra lounge at the B) I was wearing a huge hoodie, and baggy velour sweatpants. I also hadnt shaved for a few days. He was beyond gracious and talked to me for over 40 mins about all sorts of things. He also introduced me to his wifey.

We talked mostly about Melbourne bc my father is originally from there.

Guy was the friendliest pro ive met...and it isnt even close.

As far as whining about running bad....I do that too...as do 84% of pokah players.

+1. Met him in a bar in London while he was over doing some promo stuff just after he signed up with Stars and he was one of the nicest guys I've met in the game.

While people love to have someone to bash, Hachem is actually an alright guy imo, who - like all of us - hates bad beats, running bad, etc and has a whinge about it.

I'm pretty sure 95% of NVG would honk him "playing that hand so bad" regarding how he played just because he's Hachem.

Pretty sure JAGREEN might be even worse.

I have no doubt he's a cool guy in the setting you're talking about. But if you can't say he comes across as a total douche tha majority of the time he's on TV then you're blinders are on. He does more than whine about a bad beat. He complaines just like Helmuth when HE plays a hand poorly and someone gets his chips.

Like when he checks the turn and someone gets there on the river. He gets mad and berates the other player when he should be looking in the mirror. I've seen him do it many more than one time. So I don't want to hear the he had a bad day excuse.

Again, I'm sure he's cool and gracious but he should really evaluate his attitude at the table.

It's hard to kill him on that hand w/o knowing his table image and prior play. Assuming he was tight prior to this play, I actually think the call is worse than the bluff.

I also briefly met Joe H. at the WSOP and he was very friendly...much more so than a lot of pros
