In all seriousness try and sell as much as you can, don't listen to people who say "brooo you've been given a chance just play it!" The field is going to be ridiculously tough and you'll feel like a moron if you bust without cashing when you could've sold 50% or so!

Good luck to you bud, post the link in this thread please and I'll buy a wee piece for the sweat

Agree with Gazzy, try to sell as much as possible - you could even make an event out of it to sell more by streaming on twitch if you feel comfortable even sharing hole cards. That way people might just buy a piece because they have a sweat, rather than an "investment". (This could also be worse as it gives more info on your play)

Agree to disagree. I wouldn't feel like a moron if I busted without cashing. I might if I cashed big and had to give up a lot of it though.

That said, I wouldn't try to talk you into not selling if you want to sell action. Definitely start a thread and you'll get people buying if you have decent sharkscope results. Hell, I'll buy some of the action just because I enjoy this thread.

I think the staking site Bialystock & Blum might be able to handle your sales.

On Monday morning I checked my Stars account and saw that I have won a $25,000 WCOOP ticket for the upcoming Sunday Slam tournament this weekend. The ticket was issued through the sweepstakes promotion from PokerStars. Yes, it is obvious that I have winning account.

As I have a standard job and playing regularly tournaments up to $200 I am kinda overwhelmed.

Of course I have to play, otherwise it will expire (Stars support). So do you think it will be possible to sell a big chunk? If yes, how and where? And how should I even prepare?

Thanks so much in advance

Just get it in with the worst hand and you should do pretty well.

How did you win the ticket?

I know most of these people are joking, but don't listen to anyone talking about ghosting, your account will surely be very heavily scrutinized in regards to that. Try to sell as much as you can at 0.6-0.5 markdown and then just play tight and hope for the best. Maybe get some basic push/fold charts for when you are shortstacked

PokerStars is running everyday at 0:00 ET a lottery. To get entry tickets you have to opt in at challenges and play WCOOP events. They call it sweepstakes promotion.

Yeah, definitely max late reg and good luck Try to sell as much as you can for a low markdown. Play some hyper tournaments to get a feel of good reshove spots and just relax before the tourney.

Or accept the ghosting bink it and ghost the ghosting person.

Late reg with 20-25 bbs, use push/fold charts, cash that thing!

You wont be able to sell much action anyway. You can maybe sell 1% for $100 which is a huge markdown but seems realistic.

1% for $100 seems like a theft. He would sell then at 0,4 mark up, implying he is loosing with 50-60%? If he max late regs and gets coaching before, he shouldnt be loosing so high but who knows.

Could also ask some hs regs if they want to intense coach him for profit share or smt like that.

In that tourney he prob rates about there yes. Give him a sample of 10 attempts for $250k total entries - I think him pulling back $100k seems fairly realistic.

I still cannot open a thread in the staking forum. I also don't know any HS regulars. So I don't have an opportunity to sell anything at all at the moment

Good plan. Poster "chezlaw" there is a well known backer and will probably take 50% at 1.00 no questions asked. Ask him about his "non chip ev" (nonce) deal.

Unless you are genuinely terrible don't even think about selling as low as some of these suggestions. There's fk all skill in donkaments, tourney regs are generally quite deluded and not very good at poker.

this is wrong, plenty of high stakes MTT reg have studied a lot, just because you feel they're making more mistakes than you are at 100bb deep+ doesn't mean you're better at poker than they are, MTT is a very different beast than 100bb deep cash game
